Loved this! After many tries I managed to beat the 3rd level! :)
The mouse-bot is cute
I'd probably play this sometimes if it was developed further and released as a mobile game
Thanks for playing!
I won't continue work on this project, but I took some valuable lessons from it.
With these I can actually see myself releasing a small mobile game similar in this arcade style.
Well done! Yeah, nice Bomberman feel! This was fun and the graphics were great.
Thanks!
I'm glad you liked it and mentioned the graphics since it's my first jam-game where I actually put some effort in the presentation.
Hey there! Music and visuals were great, especially the music! It's my understanding that they're not your own, but it fit very nicely.
I'm not sure if this is already in the game (I got to the fourth level), but maybe risking it and getting more cheese would lead to a better score at the end?
Very well designed. Kind of reminded me of Minesweeper cross Bomberman, but if it were styled like a Mario Party minigame (and I like all 3 of those things). Great work!
(but hmmm... a grid-based top-down game involving bombs? sounds familiar. xD)
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed my little game!
You understand correctly that my only contribution to the soundscape was finding the stuff on opengameart and choosing the right ones :D
You can count additional cheese for a high score but to be fair I don't really showcase it.
Having a separate screen in the end that tells you how well you did is actually a good idea that I missed completely.
Very fun game! It reminds me of a retro game that I can't quite remember the name of (but it was one of my favorite games while growing up)
Thanks a lot!
Maybe the game you are thinking of is Bomberman?!
At least it was my inspiration for this project.
