I remember laying this game during the initial demos and really enjoyed the spinning sponge, I think it's a super cool way of making a simple object more interesting! I wish there was a little more added to the game, whether it be something as simple as maybe collecting coins along the way to maybe even making it a little easier to restart levels. Something I wonder is why a sponge was chosen as the main character of this game since the title made me think it was going to be something pirate related.
Hello this is Tray! Here's my comments:
A like: I think something that stood out to me was the level design. Even though it was a short level with pretty basic obstacles, the way the obstacles were combined felt very creative to me (for example the part where if you step on the green you'll bounce into the ice.) This led to a varied game experience.
A wish: Maybe if there was more time there could be more small details added for extra juice, like the number of attempts the player has made or additions to the graphics.
A wonder: If given the chance, would you incorporate more "pirate" themes into the gameplay since that's part of story?
I love the controls in this game and the level of difficulty; it made me want to keep playing over and over until I could get past the level. I wish there was a way to restart the level with a keyboard stroke instead of having to press redo every time. I wonder what the broader world is here and if there is any plot/motivation that could drive the gameplay.
I really loved the physics, it was so smooth and fluid. The way the cube spun when hitting a corner was a nice touch. I wish there was an explanation for what was good and bad to touch besides trial and error. I wonder if there is an end in sight & multiple levels.
Like: The idea is really good and it fits the theme really well!
Wonder: NA
Wish: I wish the arts could be more polished!
