"Look, sometimes I have to be a bro, right?"

I see where this is going. But the gameplay isn't exactly the best it could be. I think you get stunned for way too long if Banki's body gets hit by a bullet. It takes too much control out of the player in a game where you need to be really active about blocking some.... Hatred Fairies?

Being the secondary actor who's being a bro is a really good concept though.

Here is a good idea, don't let banki step over kagerou and wakasagi, not because it ruins the scene and make the game a lot easier... well, probably the last it is.

Had a good time giving headbumps to evil faeries, but it totally needs music xD.

Not a bad concept; there wasn't much point to defending except for the sake of it though - maybe a scoring system based around time lasted would have helped with this? Also didn't expect that the body would be stunned by enemy bullets, given that the head seems to block everything with no negative effects (I thought the body movement was bugged for a while as a result - probably fixable by making it more evident what's happening when the body gets hit, i.e. with a visual or sound effect).

The idea of splitting the head and the body to form a shield is really cool

A cute little game. I'm very bad at these types of games, but I found the mouse and keyboard simultaneous control interesting. Does this have controller compatibility?

I was thinking about it... but then I forgot to actually get around to figuring out how that worked in Gamemaker Studio 2... sorry =w=;
