I got all the endings. The true ending was heartwarming and cute.

Throwing Suika is hilarious, though somewhat OP.

I'm hoping to figure out how to get the other endings later on, but initially, I find myself very fascinated with the concept that's been put down here. The story is the clear crux, and it is written in a way which lends to a lot of mystery. I like that, it keeps the player attracted. The gameplay leaves a bit to be desired, but given the restrictions of the Jam, I can understand why that would be tough to perfect as a one-person team.  I found myself lost on how to handle combat situations and was hard-pressed to know if there was a way to not engage to advace the plot.  (For instance, I had no idea there were items to collect until I read the comments!) Even understanding it was meant to be open-ended, some guidance may have been nice.

That all said, the music was great, and the story together with the  intended gameplay arc really does work out. I would be interested in seeing this idea expanded out further and getting to feel what it's meant to be like when fleshed out. Thank you for giving it your best shot!

Hi everyone! The game has been updated!

There are a handful of changes, you can check them out here: https://jamnedz.itch.io/the-lost-memory/devlog/445257/first-post-jam-update-1100

Feel free to try it out, and huge thanks for playing and all the feedback!

When I played the game for the first time, I accidentally collect all items and proceed to the extra and got the item for the true ending, and I think the game locks me on that particular ending, so I can't get the 3rd one, which I believe can be obtained by not collecting all items. Perhaps a way to wipe the game data would be a nice patch. :)

Love the 'Till When' remake!

THROW THE GOBLIN!!!

The story is definitely the highlight of the game. I really liked the serious and heartwarming direction you went with Yuyuko's backstory - and the final ending also surprised me quite a bit in terms of both the unlock requirements and the ending itself.

The gameplay is pretty whatever with how you can't die, but throwing Suika is pretty funny.

Finally, I like the overall presentation of it. It's true the art has a lot to be improved, but I can tell you put a lot of effort into everything and it's very sweet to see.

Congratulations on your very first released game! May this be the first of many.

Plenty of nice ideas, and a nice story!

The combat is extremely underwhelming but it does show interesting things. Namely enemies that back away from you while shooting, and the ONI MISSILE that also works as a shield. (good work on that one, made me laugh)
The selling point is clearly the story, it really kept me going. And then there's the "true ending" requirements, they aren't much but they're implemented in an interesting way. I just really liked how it was done.

What a beautiful game. The combat is a bit meh, but it doesn't get in the way and the pixel environments you get to explore in the meantime have a strange low-res beauty to them. I didn't have any problems finding the 3 endings, probably because I knew to look for them after reading the game's page.

The Suika attack is hilarious, too, and I don't think it distracts from the otherwise serious tone of the game.

There are 3 endings in total right? I'm trying every actions such as getting all the items per level or completely ignoring them each time, but I can't get myself to unlock the 3rd one and so I only managed to open the Final and Extra endings =,="

I enjoyed the game mechanic wherein you can either slash them, or just straight out throw our strong Japanese goblin towards the fairies.

I'll try to play it again in order to see the 3rd one (secret ending, right?)

I have a doubt that the last ending can be unlocked by either just using Suika for attacking them or completely beat the game without being hurt even once.

Hi, thanks for playing! Sorry, I should've made requirements for endings more clear(• ▽ •;)

If you already tried collecting and not collecting items, then the remaining one is true end, which unlocks by going to final stage after completing the extra (that's also why there is a shortcut for it in main menu).

The idea with various consequences of just using/not using Suika sounds quite fun, I haven't even thought about it!
