Incredibly polished looking game with a weird control scheme that somehow felt more intuitive to me than normal danmaku games. Seeing fish everyone was really cute, and the enemies were varied enough that things felt fresh all the way through. An incredibly solid title that was a joy to play, thank you for making!
Bullet hell shmups with weird minimalistic control schemes are kind of your thing, huh? I was reminded of Heavy Machine Bun a lot playing this
and totally not because of similar looking bullets and sounds.I'll be honest, I'm not very good at this game (the cirno fish are the bane of my existence), but racking up combos is super satisfying, and the game feel is just so good when things are going well! Unfortunately once I get hit things tend to go downhill very quickly, but that might just be me being bad at recovering. An adorable take on horizontal shoot-em-ups that is surprisingly cool despite the initially hard-to-learn controls. Chaining adds a layer of risk-and-reward that I never expected to work so well, and the fast pace of the stage makes it relaxing for a quick play. Very cute story, music and art to complement this gameplay as well.

I was pretty happy with my 50 chain by the time I got to the boss, but looking at Mantou's score, it probably wasn't that impressive.
Also, for some reason, my combo was significantly lower than my chain. Bug?
Anyway, interesting and fun game! The control scheme definitely has a learning curve, but it was fun to figure it out. The art and music were both top-notch, too.
Gameplay wise, with the way enemy bullets block your bullets, it can get out of control pretty quickly, especially if you drop below 4 power, but that could well be a feature. It makes it a bit volatile in terms of RNG, though.
Also, a slightly more responsive version of the same control scheme might be "hold space to go up, release space to go down", or something like that. I'm not sure if this would actually feel good, but perhaps? I think I tended to hold the button after pressing it anyway, so changing states both required a release and a re-press for me.
So good I've recommended it to my pals. It's incredibly fun, the art and music is excellent, and the challenge is really dope to overcome. Great work.

Very cute game, loved its control scheme and gameplay, very smart! I feel like adding some sort of progression meter for showing how far along the level you are would add a lot, but other than that it was really enjoyable! Congrats on the release!
This game is so fun
Although the controls are fairly limiting, it honestly felt really good to slowly get better at the game and finally be able to reach power lvl 4! There isn't much sense of how close you are to the goal, but that also gives you a certain amount of suspense while playing if you're determined enough. Really cool game!
