It seems like the main idea here didn't get implemented all the way, but I like the art (and so many character choices!) as well as the concept of some kind of multiplayer runner.
I won!
So that's supposed to be some team-racing game, right? I like the ideas shown but it's barely playable.
At least the 2 characters behind the front are teammates, right? They don't seem to have any effect on the game whatsoever.
The gameplay is rather shallow so there isn't much to work towards. No timer, no real gameplay core, the obstacles are barely a problem (given that the main character accepts your jump input).
There's so much potential to harness from this. Like, team racing dashing at high speed through the snow? This is the kind of thing that makes a part of the players (me included) go "HELL YEAH!"
It would've been nice to have a tutorial or at least controls on the game page and/or a readme file...
It's still kind of unpolished but overall not bad for a jam game. Hoping to see more improvements in the future.
A race game with a lot of characters, as Kuang-Yu stated, the first character seems to jump at a different pace than the others, but i discovered that if you hold the jump button it will actually jump at the same pace as the other two, also you can press the s button to fall faster. It lacks a tutorial or how to play.
Also i found a game breaking bug where your inputs can drastically affect the gameplay, if you press the s button to fall faster you can de-spawn flying obstacles and even make ground obstacles to not spawn to begin with, so if you mash w and s the game becomes really easy.
A timer to know how fast you clear the game would be nice, also by doing the mashing trick you can be faster than the red bar i believe.
This is a game about running to the finishing line and dodging the walls.
The first character seems to jump at a different pace than the others, so you have to double-jump when facing walls.
I thought the red bar over your head is the damage you took along the way at first, but it turns out to be an indicator of how far you have gone and how close you are to the finishing line.
I am not sure if you can die in this game, it seems like walls only slow you down for a while.
