The web version plays very weirdly for some reason. I’m not sure why but the windows version played a lot smoother.

Also, don’t use lerping for item collection.

I like the action-y element here. Some of the item could use more descriptions in terms of what they do / how to use them.

i think my only gripe for this is that after getting as much damage there's nothing really standing in my way now but I guess that's exactly how I remembered it in og vs. But also there's not much unique challenges afterwards, like there's the darkness gimmick but it still felt like standard enemy stuff

I was literally just standing still for like the last 15 minutes. I wish the game had a fast-forward button. Any meaningful gameplay was basically over by the end of the first stage; I was worried that the game would just go on forever. Some kind of timer indicating when the next boss will appear or something might have been useful, apart from the obvious balance issues.

Not that the game was super engaging before I reach critical amount of lifeleech: I just walked around in circles, but I at least had upgrades to look forward to. Still pretty solid for a jam game, it felt complete: no gameplay systems felt tacked on or half-baked. Just some numbers that needed tweaking and maybe some enemies that don't just literally walk towards you.

ah yeah it is supposed to get more difficult based on on you level, i just didnt know how much to scale health by (currently its just hp * level * 0.1)
never really got anyone who was able to balance for the jam (despite me making a post about it on both servers) so lol it cant be helped

Outside of small gameplay/mechanic bugs, I really loved my time in this game! I especially love Youmu’s strunkly look and the Medicine’s speech.

No youmu because you're ghost doesn't mean you can have below absolute-zero items!

Jokes aside, i think stages could've been a bit shorter. buffing the boss health seems to righ choice too
