I beated this because I loved the models, flan taking off her hat was quite badass tbh.

But yeah, gameplay is broken, if you touch any edge of the screen, sakuya will start turning and knifes can end being shot from her back (NO WAY), so aiming is terrible when this happens, some bullets went suddenly still at times, so it need a little fix for some things, but visually is very nice, I hope you keep on on making more like this.

The gameplay part is kinda weak:

The perspective looks nice but it makes dodging and aiming awkward at certain angles.
In the Jam version, Flan and Sakuya can go off screen and there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the view.
In the Postjam version (at least), Sakuya's aim can get "uncalibrated" somehow... Awkward.

Regarding balance, Jam version feels quite unfair. Flandre has phases where she can just move next to Sakuya or offscreen, overlapping bullets in the process of moving. I had to wait until I got decent RNG to win.

Would have loved a Focus button, would be so useful for more precise movement.

I gave points in concept for novelty efforts though!
The character animations and the perspective are nice looking. (And Sakuya's overly dramatic dying animation is hilarious.)
I love the bright models and bullets over the dark background, looks a bit like neon aesthetic.

For peeps who can't complete the game:

In the Jam version two of the preset spots Flandre can teleport to are off-screen due to a last minute camera adjustment, sorry!

I like the visuals of this game a lot. If it is inspired by something i'd like to know what it is because i really dig it.

The game is fun. Just a standard bullethell boss. Though i reached the part where she enters the coffin and the game got stuck from there? Unless that was the end of the game.

Wish there was some indicator to your health. Also sakuya's direction to the mouse very quickly gets disoriented and starts shooting away from the mouse after a while. And idk what happened but at the end of my first run sakuya was shooting from her back. Very strange

So, Flandre throwing her hat initially is really cute, the rest of the visuals are fantastic as well. Sakuya controls well but it took me some time to figure out which buttons do what. the 3rd and 4th attacks quickly frustrated me with (in my opinion) their unfairness (Flandre would teleport of my screen and i would struggle to hit her or she would teleport in my face and cause me to lose a life by shooting a bullet i had no way to react to). I was unable to beat it sadly but am willing to try again many more times because the game is very good.
