Very cool - big fan of stompy mecha!
Who DOESN'T?! This was also, low-key, my homage to my straight favorite miniatures game, in part made by the genius Vincent Baker of PbtA fame: Mobile Frame Zero - Rapid Attack. If you haven't, check it out - I love how it shifts ideas of alliance in mapped-out mini play, how simple and intuitive its resolution rolls are, how the minis themselves (LEGOs all!) are blown apart during play - it's just brilliant. Also, it leads to endless building of really amazing-looking tiny mecha, if you've got the excuse to mess around with LEGOs provided by parenting an 8-year-old ... :D
Right on - THANK you! I had a lot of fun working with the idea of range without use of minis, and also with different abilities. The whole flavor of nobility bit was fun to add, too (and my own LEGO mech designs in cartoon format made me just happy, honestly).
I didn't catch that the images were Lego at first! Great touch
This looks like it has bite & crunch without being difficult to grok. A solid modular design, & I really dig it.
