How did you choose to implement the Theme: Eldritch Abomination in your game?
It was mentioned that Theme: Eldritch Abomination is optional.

In this game I create mystery and suspense of what happened on old abandoned ship. Player have to find items to escape that place.

Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Morel like reveal the mystery. The more player walk around abandoned ship the more he discovers about the place.
For example - the ghost is the captain who was betrayed by his crew and now he is hunting this ship

This was wonderful.

I was almost becoming too comfortable exploring the ship until reaching the captains room and then I was on edge through to the ending.

Having the map show up within the environment was a great choice and really helped in learning the layout of the ship.

Great atmosphere and a lot of fun to play.

I enjoyed playing through this game although I got quite lost with how similar everything looked. The horror elements were great, I loved the effects and it felt rewarding to beat it! Especially like the controls on posters on the wall. But it didn't meet the theme at all in my opinion it's unfortunate the requirement was misunderstood.

Thank you  so much for your feedback Vurj! I am glad that you liked it.
I thought so first, but when I talked to creators of Jam, and looked up definition  for the theme, it looks like it fits the requirements pretty well.

I ll  also check out your game as well!

The Theme isn't optional, the Bonus Challenges are. The rules even specify as such. That said, I think I'll give this the benefit of the doubt and leave it here. The premise of the game seems to very vaguely fit the Theme.

Oh I see! Thank you so much for that.

And actually I agree with you. It does fit in, based on the definition.

"An Eldritch Abomination is a term commonly used in speculative fiction, particularly within the realms of horror and fantasy, to describe a type of entity that defies conventional understanding or violates the laws of nature. These beings often possess vast, incomprehensible powers, exist outside the normal bounds of space and time, and typically evoke a sense of cosmic horror or existential dread in those who encounter them."

In my case the entity is abandoned ship and  especially the ghost of dead captain who lurks the corridors.

I guess I just misread the first part of your requirements. Gladly it all works. Thanks again!
