The selection of ingredient, their shape and the layout of the tower are different each time. Death is final and permanent.

How do you feel about the game you made?
Pretty good, the timing was tight, there's a lot I wish I could have added.

What can we improve for the next jam?
The jam is already pretty well managed. It just needs more submissions.

I really like how unique the combat system felt and how amazing the pixel art is, I kind of wish fighting enemies was more rewerding though, and if there were more enemies. Really nice game!

Developer

I had plan for a lot more ennemis and bosses but time fell short, currently the only point in fighting ennemies is to learn how to use the ingredients you've collected.

Thanks anyway for the kind word, have a nice one

Really great job. This is the type of mechanic that feels like a real “winner” in terms of longevity as a project outside of a game jam. I can visualize all kinds of different interesting interactions that could take place between pieces, enemies, items, etc. Super solid project!

Hey thanks, it means a lot.

I had a lot of ideas for different ingredients, interactions and monsters that were cut due to time constraint. I'll get back to that project after the jam I think, it was a blast to work on.

I commented on the page only so I’ll repeat: That’s a super mini game. It’s really well balanced, and it looks great. I launched it multiple times without noticing :)

I replayed with my team to vote and we are agree that’s a really good game. My first part was more successful than the last, but I enjoyed it just as much. Really good entry.

Font was sometimes confusing and hard to read. Once I figured the game out it was really fun though!

I've regretted using these kinds of color almost immediatly, thanks for playing
