This is so adorable!

I love the minecraft-esque visuals! The idea is also quite cute :)

Font was sometimes confusing and hard to read. Once I figured the game out it was really fun though!

:O this is so cool! how do you load the wikipedia iframe?

ty :D I actually meant to size up the planets but it lead to weird collision issues and in the interest of time i just dropped it

The pack file is missing :(

pack file is missing :(

(1 edit)

I like the main menu design, the gameplay was a bit tricky to get ahold of. It would be nice if you could show the keybinds again at any time

ty :D

That was a funny idea - I assume you had to sabotage everything to win, but I didn’t figure out the googly eyes for quite a while. Other than that, fun!

this worked!

I hope you guys finish this! The artstyle looks really cool just from the itch page :)

This reminds me a whole lot of portal reloaded

Nice music, but some of the hitboxes feel really weird and inaccurate

Linux build is also broken :(

Sound and animations are great, but the gravity feels a touch too aggressive. Overall nice job, and ty for the linux build :)

This is really cool! It reminds me of the portal mod thinking with time machine. The way the robot, character, and forklift interact is really clever! I do wish there was a slightly easier difficulty curve though. Nice job!

(Also ty for the linux build)

Ty for making a linux build! It would be nice to have it marked as executable by default though.

UI is a little tiny. I liked the tutorial text - you might want to consider using a font with ligatures though because the default arrows look a little weird.

The clone mechanic was confusing but really cool! Overall I really liked this, it reminds me of the game I made for last year’s jam somewhat too :)

UI could use some work, but I loved the sounds :)

I like the idea, but sadly the game was very hard to play for me. I encountered visual bugs where the entire map would blink in and out of existance rapidly. Everything was black except for what I assume were the targets, so maybe some kind of lighting bug? idk

Won’t run without the pack file :(

Your player controls felt nice, if a little slidey at times. Loved the twist with the level morphing!

It’s never clearly communicated that you can double jump (at least, not in the game). Other than that, quite fun

This reminds me of scratch horror games and I love it

The game wont run without unity installed

unfortunately both versions dont work for me :( that cat is really cute though

crazy that this car can drive on water lol

I think it’s cool that you got that routing/driving line thing to work. It would be nice to be able to zoom in and out.

Also, the shop was broken for me.

first off, really cool game mechanic! did you embed something for this? or did you write your own thing cause this is really cool :D though I will say having a not operator would be nice

the window management is also sick

on the second level, it took me a while to notice the readme had changed

The game (at least, the linux version) crashes on startup :(

If you run it in the terminal, you get a C# exception that “Couldn’t find a valid ICU package installed on the system.”. I assume this is a problem with the game because I have the .NET SDK installed.

This was confusing at first, maybe showing some tutorial text in the game would have been nice - I didn’t expect the car to activate immediately either.

Overall, fun concept!

Btw, your linux binary isn’t marked as executable by default

This was a little confusing at first, but once I realized how to ‘loop’ it was fun! also ty for making a linux build :)

First off, good job making something in the first place - I know people who didnt even submit what they had because it wasnt good enough!

Some tips:

  • try packing everything into a zip next time, assembling the game was hard
  • it’s cool that you’re using pygame, if you want something more batteries-included godot’s GDScript is very similar to python

keep making stuff!

artwork is sick!

thank you! I almost decided to cap the amount of probes you had but decided to keep it chill haha

How so? Are you referring to the web build or desktop bulid?

How do you edit a placed district?

Arrows go their corresponding direction
