Congratulations for making a game! If you want to improve your game, I would start with adding player feedback, like hit sounds and effects while fighting an enemy. You should also show the controls. I had a hard time to figure out how to progress the text (with E) and then I thought I have to outrun the enemies until I got that I can fight them.

Pretty simple, but also, pretty good!

The web version had some issues for me, but the download was fine.

Yeah, the sprites and landscapes are not bad, and the intro looks pretty nice. Don't worry about the incompleteness or lack of polish, since this is your first game jam. You will improve at these things if you keep game jamming and aiming to make something better than you did last time. Good work submitting for the first time!

I like original Tragedy of Macbeth and I must say that your game is not-bad, you good use original story, but game is really short. Clouds appearance in intro really interested me, all landscape graphics are quite nice :) BTW sound effect when dialog is skipping is a little irritating.

Nice sprites and effects, I especially liked the storm in the intro, clever use of panning and opacity!

It took me a minute to understand the game, but well done! I included it in part 3 of my Public Domain Jam compilation video series, if you'd like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/wBFnNe-QQn0
