Congratulations to Firelinker for Winning Palm's Choice!
I don't know why the ratings arent showing but I'll try to fix that in the future

No wonder why this remains the most popular game on the list. It's a fun, interesting and well executed mechanic. The levels I liked the most were those where you needed to catch the fire mid air and throw it again before landing. Like someone else said the control scheme is a bit awkward at first but I could easily move through after a few tries. I'd nitpick about the graphics scaling not matching with each other and the tiles and fire sprites clashing a little bit with the rest, but that's barely noticeable for most people. Great job!
Cool concept but I found myself stuck at some level, not much of a platformer enjoyer.
Even if I'm not the sort of player who'd be your target audience, I can still recognize greatness when I see it. (I don't typically play this genre of game.) The music loop isn't perfect, but pretty much everything else here shines! The art and animations I love, the controls feel very fair, the game seems very stable, and I do like that it starts out easier and gets harder as you go along so even less skilled players like me can beat a level or two and feel good about it! :) I'm also impressed that you took the time to put in a leaderboard, AND to include your author's high score as a target to shoot for! If this genre of game were my cup of tea, I could easily see spending quite a lot of time on it very happily trying and retrying for a better score. Very very well done!!
Art was spot on and concept was cool, but man, I could not get that friggin' ball to do what I want.
Also, just a small thing, but the landing/jumping SE was a bit annoying.
