Haha! This made me play longer than I would normally. The art work, design, audio, the smoothness of the game. I love it! Though I have noticed that when you bought/upgraded everything - the number for the crumbs disappears, maybe it was just me not understand the whole mechanics (lol) and audio is a bit loud but other than that this is great!
tally ho! nice game, as a tea drinker myself i am a big fan. Maybe was just me, but I didnt seem to be able to use the buttons on the right hand side, very nice sound and graphical design to a good theme of a game :)
I like that there are vehicles moving at the bottom of the screen and the famous landmarks in the background.
UP2037603: I'm impressed that you got a working mobile background animation working with the vehicles and I really liked the system of two currencies working together. The sound and music are both very well suited for the game and the graphical style with different biscuits drove me to complete the game fully. Your UI is both aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.
I did notice a small bug, or perhaps design, that the automated sellers would take away 1 crumb no matter how many they were actually trying to sell so you didn't really need to manage your crumbs.
Really enjoyed this game, very British no one dunks biscuits quite like us the background was very good and had some iconic London landmarks and some amazing traffic at the bottom however there was no way to quit out of this game and after your crumbs go so high they disappear.5 crumbs out of 5.
Fantastic use of sound and music although at the risk of sounding unpatriotic I would have like a built in volume control.
The art was also excellent and looked professionally made!
The overall feel of the game was SOLID! Enjoyable and clear progression with a simple and intuitive UI.
Great game well done team, Dumpster fire.
Found all mechanics to work wonderfully and was fun to figure out and put together what buttons did what. The UI needed to be pushed up somehow as the style of that plus the game being the same clash and make it hard to tell the two apart.
I really enjoyed this game, everything in the game works well together especially the pixel art and the British theme/visuals is amazing but I wish the animations for the biscuits worked but apart from that this game is really well made.
A British game for a British player made by British people with a British theme and British visuals. The game makes me click Britishly in a way that is nothing short of British. This game is pure Britishness.
Okay, enough of that. I thought the game was pretty well made. Pixel art is incredible, God Save the Queen enhanced the British theme and the sounds are nice to listen to. Selling crumbs is a nice mechanic that gives you more things to click on, who knew that you could make so much money off of crumbs?
Great job to all the developers!
The patriotic theme is amazing.
I realy enjoyed the design your team went for, the UI is easy to navigate. The only thing i would say is that the idea of having to sell the crumbs indavidually could be tedious and makes the player have to focus on the game rather than letting it paly in the background, althoght this feature is really inovative however a way of bulk selling may improve this.
A nice game. There was lots of different upgrades. The music was nice.
The only thing is the "crumbs" count just suddenly disappeared on me.
But I had fun playing that.
oh crumbs nice little game. 40hrs of dev good work. artwork is pleasent and gameplay is enjoyable
Bloody brilliant game lads!
In all seriousness, this is really enjoyable! The two types of scores (crumbs and GBP) confused me at first, but then I thought being able to build up two different scores is quite unique and yet doesn't feel overwhelming. The pixel art is beautiful. The taxi and the double-decker, the different biscuit types, and the background sounds (and music!) are fantastic touches.
To improve upon this, I would animate the wheels on the vehicles so they do not appear to glide, and I would be careful of the national anthem - it loops frequently and loses its charm relatively quickly.
However, you've done a fantastic job! All of you should be proud. I imagine this will rate highly!
Love the theme to this game, London in the background, the national anthem as the music all fits well with the theme intended.
I have got two problems with this game however, one is that you can buy upgrades if you make enough money, but if I buy a different upgrade and no longer have the money to buy the other ,I still can but the game puts me into a negative balance.
Also, after a while of playing i had what seems to be infinite crumbs, which will be shown in a picture below.
As you can see there is no value and even with an auto clicker i could sell indefinitely without running out of crumbs, although this simply could have been to my upgrades exceeding the auto clickers capacity, knowing just how many crumbs I have at all times gives insight as to how much I need to earn.
Other than that, this is a fun game that I enjoyed playing.
At first everything seemed cluttered around the screen, but once you adjust it's actually a very fun game! The art is polished and fits well with the aesthetic and the theme, with the occasional cars being a nice touch.
Having greyed out unlockables is an amazing idea, it really gives the player a goal which is difficult in this kind of game.
The gameplay works well and has good pacing, all I'd say is that clicking the sell button yourself eventually becomes pointless since the game plays itself faster than you could ever click, so maybe a powerup that makes you sell more with each click would be useful.
Exceedingly British, as it should be. Nice work!
Well I'm British, so 12/10, the upgrades to your biscuit over time is fantastic, though ranking bourbons over custard creams puts you on thin ice. Lovely aesthetic, very well done!
As for feedback, once you get over 1000 crumbs the number stops displaying, but honestly that's about it.
God save the Queen!
