Really nice and atmospheric. Maybe adding some additional music or SFX (heart beat, footsteps, etc.) would heighten the tension. Pretty cool idea though! Great job.
Creative story telling, the mood and environment fit the game well. Good job!
Thank you!
Hello there! First up great job on your game! I played until I hit the cave and could not figure out where to go after that. For theme and originality, I rated it great. The lack of audio and narrative hurt the overall experience. There were lots of little issues from the colliders and how things were put together in the world. Really great foundation, could definitely see this getting much better as you refine your skills!
Oh... when you come out of the cave there's a bridge on the beach. You were pretty close to the end.
This was my first time working with someone else's assets, so I'm glad you enjoyed the experience. It was fun getting all the different pieces to work together.
Nice job. I loved the atmosphere! I would add some more in the audio department to enhance the ambiance. The volume was low with that audio that was present, but adding things like the ocean waves, wind, seagulls in the distance or something? Really nice story and presentation!
Thank you so much.
I think I'll be the next set of bones on the island. Nice atmosphere. I did run into the bug where some (but not all) messages were hard to clear (the hit box for the X was different to the visual, might be a resolution issue) and they started stacking.
Yep, I had some issues with the x button. I'll have to work on that a bit more when the jam is over. Thank you!
There is a bug where messages will get stuck on the screen, so any further messages are hard to read. Also you can softlock yourself in some areas of the water.
Consider adding some music, as this seems to be athmosphere oriented ;)
It's definitely supposed to be atmospheric. I wanted to add footsteps so that it was your only real sound to make it even more isolating.
