Wow. Amazing! Thanks so much for hosting the game jam. It was fun to participate :-)

It should work in Chrome, Edge, and Safari (at least that's what I've tested). Are you getting any specific errors that would help me troubleshoot? It's just a Unity WebGL game, so nothing exotic.

Managed to evade the red cube, and it never came back. Maybe adding a little more to the game loop would make it more fun, but in general it's a pretty cool mine craft like world.

Thank you for the kind words. Maybe I'll revisit the music after the jam.

This was such a cute little game! I really liked the mix of making drinks and adopting cats — it’s such a cozy concept. It made me a little sad that some of the cats don’t end up in good homes :-( but that emotional touch actually gives the game some nice depth. You’ve got a great foundation here, and I could totally see this becoming something really fun. Nice work for your first game!

I think I might have missed something here — I was expecting a journaling game to keep track of my entries, but after I typed something and clicked Finish, the text just disappeared. I thought maybe it would save my writing so I could revisit it later, or at least reload my previous entries next time I played. As it is, it seems like I’m just typing into a text box that clears when I’m done? Maybe I’m misunderstanding how it’s meant to work?

I really liked the unique art style, and the puzzle design was pretty fun once I got the hang of it. It did start to feel a bit repetitive after a while, though, so it might be nice to mix things up with a few different puzzle variations. Still, really nicely done!

Pretty cool concept! It took me a little while to figure out what to do, and for the life of me I couldn’t get past the third wall — until I finally maximized the game to full-screen. Then I could see farther into the distance and grab the cube. I liked the clapping mechanic for lighting up the room, though it didn’t seem to affect gameplay much, which threw me off a little. With some tweaks to level design, I think this could be a really fun game, so I hope you add more to it.

Really unique concept! I have to confess, I’m not usually a fan of chocolate :-) but this was enjoyable. It felt like wandering through a dream built out of an old Atari 2600 world — simple, surreal, and oddly nostalgic. I might not have completely understood the full intent, but I definitely enjoyed the experience.

(1 edit)

Fun little parkour game! The inversion mechanic was a really cool touch, and I loved the character’s running animation. The controls felt a little finicky at times, and I did get a bit turned around, so some visual cues or varied landmarks could help guide the player. Still, I had a good time with it. Nice job!

Really nice work! The art style is gorgeous, and I loved the main mechanic of moving between the spirit and living worlds — it was such a creative idea. A couple of small things stood out to me: the jump/phase movement didn’t feel all that necessary, and the dialog sounds were a bit distracting for me. But overall, it’s a fantastic game — congrats on pulling it all together so well!

First of all, I really enjoyed your game. I mean this in the best possible way — it felt like taking a trip through a dark and twisted mind. The art style, music, and writing all worked together perfectly to create that uneasy atmosphere. I felt a constant sense of tension the whole way through, and the ending was genuinely disturbing... in the best way. Great work! I’d love to see where you could take it if you decided to develop it further.

Thanks so much for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! I completely get what you mean about the external assets — I’d love to be able to make all the art and music myself someday. For now, they just helped me get the story out the way I imagined it. I’m really happy to hear it still connected the way I hoped it would.

Thanks for taking the time to play and share your experience! I really enjoy working in 3D, it just has a feel I prefer over 2D (not to mention I don't have any 2D art skills). There’s only one ending in this version, but with more time I would’ve loved to expand the narrative further. This was my first attempt at making an adventure game, so hopefully next time I can do more 🙂

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! This was my first go at making a point-and-click adventure, so I wasn’t totally sure how the 3D movement and camera setup would come together. Really appreciate hearing what worked (and what didn’t) — it helps a lot for the next one!

My screen resolution is 3840x1600, but I scaled it down to 1920x1080 and was able to read the text in the UI. Thanks.

I couldn't figure out how to get past the stream of black water. I'm sure there's another path, but I couldn't find it - the text at the bottom of the screen was also cut off, so it's possible I was missing a clue? I think you need a little work on the character controller and UI, but I love Sci-Fi, so was definitely excited to try your submission.

Really impressive work! Hard to believe you pulled all this together in just two weeks. It took me a bit to realize I could combine inventory items, but once I did the game flowed nicely and I was able to finish without much trouble. The story and artwork were both a joy - nicely done!

Congrats on this - it’s really well done. I loved the art style, and the music added a lot to the experience. I had a little trouble following the story at times, but the dialog was nice and I enjoyed reading and playing through the whole game. I actually ended up doing it twice, since I ran into some bugs with the inventory system and lost the truth serum before I could grab the third piece of evidence on my first run. Still, overall it was a really nice experience. Great job!

This is a really cool idea. I had a bit of trouble keeping track of who was who, but it was fun to play. I really liked how you used colors and lighting to design the rooms - it made the hospital look great :-) A couple small things I noticed: if there was any sound, I couldn’t hear it, and the dialog text was only readable for me in full-screen. It would have been nicer if the embed size was a bit larger so I could play directly on the page. Still, great work!

Cool! I don't know why the video is so laggy. Hopefully that's not how you experienced it... but thank you :-)

I really enjoyed playing your game! The story and humor were spot on, and the music added a perfect touch. The nostalgic style really hit home for me - I loved it. Some of the answers were tricky, and I found myself just guessing until I got them right. I think it would have been more fun if I wasn’t kicked back to the menu when that happened. Still, it’s a great experience overall - nice job!

Thanks for the play through. You're pretty much at the end, but that sucks that you ran into a bug. I wasn't able to do much play testing, so I'm not totally surprised ;-) and I didn't get that last section implemented until the last few hours of the game jam. The game should auto-save your progress though, so you could try reloading and using the "Continue" option from the main menu.

Thanks for playing. We scrapped the original game idea in the last couple of days but decided to basically submit what we could get done anyway. We also planned to replace the voice overs... but ran out of time.

Really great visuals, and I especially loved the zero-g effect and walking around in the dark with the flashlight. I kept waiting for an alien to jump out at me or something like that.. there was a lot of suspense, and I could see this being a fun horror game. Nice job!

Great job! This is definitely the best dunker game I've played so far. Nice job with the polish, and even including pirate locale. Well done. :-)

Nice retro vertical scroller. Reminds me a bit of Raiden, but I really loved the twist of docking the ship and controlling the player on the platform. Would be cool to develop the idea even further. Nice job!

Pretty fun idea, especially shooting the cars and helicopters. The controls are a bit squirrely (maybe as intended), but I still really enjoyed playing. Nice job!

This was pretty fun. I couldn't get past the last level though!

This was really fun and well made.. I won't lie though, I was kind of hoping it was going to be a hockey game after playing the tutorial - but nice job! Slapping pucks at beavers is also fun :-)

Nice use of GenAI, this was fun, and the style and interaction is great. I'd like to play more games like this.

Thank you! I hope someone was around when you came back. I didn't really factor in the fact that most times there wouldn't be other players in the game - I wish I did.. maybe I would have added some NPCs or other things to do while playing, but I'm glad you tried a second time :-)

Thank you so much for playing my game and providing the encouraging feedback. I intentionally wanted to make something simple, but execute it well - so I'm happy that came across while you were playing.

Thanks for playing! It's so hard in a solo game jam to pick and choose what you spend your time on. I agree 100% though, and I kind of blew it by not spending more time thinking about the sound design. It will definitely add to the experience if I can include more of those types of ambient FX.

Thank you. I definitely wanted to make the kite flying fun and relaxing... it's still not exactly what I wanted, so hopefully I can make some changes after the jam.

Me too! I spent a lot of time flying kites as a kid :-) It's a bummer about the multiplayer - with not enough players it's hard to get that multiplayer experience (lesson learned). When there have been 3-4 players flying kites together I think it's been a cool experience though.

Thanks for playing! I hear you on the polish.. always so hard to do in short game jam, but will try and shine it up a bit after the jam ends. Not sure what's going on with the input - I know in general WebGL games tend to work best in Chrome, so could have been a browser issue?

Really nice and atmospheric. Maybe adding some additional music or SFX (heart beat, footsteps, etc.) would heighten the tension. Pretty cool idea though! Great job.

Really nice work! The character controller is almost perfect. I love the parkour and grappling movement, which for the most part worked really well. There were some places I got stuck, or some movements I wanted to do didn't seem to be available, and I couldn't tell where I could grapple. It was also very dark for me (maybe that's the intention), but I found it hard to see where I was going in some places. Overall I was super impressed though. Great job!

The player controller needs a bit of work. It was already mentioned, but the player slides around a bit too much. I also had to restart a couple times because when I fell I got respawned in the water and there was no way out. Otherwise, this is a great start and could be very fun with a bit more work. Music was kind of cool too.. was that original?
