N64 style, check, cool characters check and check, really weird game mechanics, yes please. Loved the concept you came up with. I kept falling off once I got to the platforming part, but still really fun nonetheless. You could polish this into a really fun game.

Woah these levels are HUGE! Strong Mario 64 / Banjo Kazooie vibes with this one, with the large levels and the many, many different traversal mechanics. Jumping, lunging, swimming, trampolines, mine carts, platforms, there’s a lot of mechanical depth in here.
I wasn’t sure what to do after the first minecart stopped in front of a “Safe” sign. The other minecart seemed out of reach. After a failed attempt, I was able to land on the edge of the next minecart rail and just walk up the rail to my next destination.
Combat also took a few retries. I’m sure there’s a way to kick the soccer ball but I was only able to make it roll forwards very slowly.
I was not able to beat the doctor at tennis and it took me back to the start of the area, which was frustrating. But just the fact that the boss fight is a tennis minigame is great. I love the genre combo you picked and the way it’s used.
Very cool idea overall with the characters having different skills and everything being sports based. I did wish that either movement was faster overall or the environments were smaller. Great character models / music / graphics overall, really liked the 2D style trees. Also ran into a few control issues on my xbox controller (B button paused and attacked when unpausing, A button triggered special). An option to speed up the text in cutscenes would be nice too. Good stuff!

Liked the character design and the music.
Maybe the second level needs some checkpoints, or at least one before the boss so the player doesn't need to repeat the whole level just for losing that.
Also, I was not able to beat the first level as Dan. He gets stuck just after jumping from the trampoline, because his gliding skill doesn't let him get past the wall after that.
