Really good mechanics and sound effects! The waiting on a vulnerable bug to fire is a nice twist. I'm glad the game is easy to restart because I died about every five seconds :).

It works great, its like a twin-stick shooter using wasd and arrows! I like the concept, the sounds and action make it a complete  package. Good job!

Neat mechanics using both wsad and the arrow keys! It felt very satisfying to slush those bugs!

Unfortunately, the authors of the sprites and audio you have  linked do not mention any licensing information that is compatible with the Lisp Game Jam. Future jam participants should be able to freely use, modify, and redistribute any code or assets from past Lisp Game Jam events, and currently there is no licensing information mentioned to permit them to do so. Please keep this in mind for next time.

Developer

Sorry, I'll be sure to check for that next time.  Regarding the sprites, they were made specifically for the game and the GitHub page is the only place they've been published, would that mean the license on GitHub applies to them?  I'm not very experienced with how licensing works.

Host

If an author publishes something for free to download, it doesn't give you permission to redistribute it, not to mention relicense it under different terms, unless that is explicitly mentioned in the agreement.

Developer

The author of the sprites didn't publish them for free to download, they DMed them to me via Discord specifically for use in the game jam.  Not sure how that works regarding licensing.
