Some more feedback on taking damage would be nice.  A button for selecting items would be preferable to mouse clicking.

Scarrrryyyy... The sound background and monster noises are really cool! Also the grain filter and limited flashlight radius contribute to the scariness. You really nailed it!

I think having mouse clicks for shooting and for inventory actions is not optimal. There are not that many actions (switching weapons, reloading, swapping batteries) - a key for each of these actions might be enough. As for the weapons: showing in inventory which one is active would help, also making clear how many bullet packs are still left for each weapon. Suggestion: only show the active weapon and its bullet packs. Define one key for switching weapons - no clicks for that.

The atmosphere is great!

This is super cool visually and aurally! The strategy of moving backwards into the darkness works really well and feels super tense. Gameplay felt tight, too!

I was trying not to waste ammo, so it would be nice if there was some sort of audio or visual cue when monsters died, I found myself shooting too many bullets before the monster suddenly disappeared.

easily the best atmosphere in the entire jam, if there was just an end goal this would be a 10/10 for me, no doubt. At the moment its still like an 8-9/10, just missing that objective.

Too bad the game wasn't totally finished because I really loooove the art and atmosphere! The grain and fog really add to the ambience and it reminds me of some of Miziziziz games. Great game congrats!
