I like how the music changes as your speed changes, and the vocal tracks add a nice layer of ambience. I wish it were easier to tell where I had just come from and where I hadn't been before. I felt like I was going in circles.
Deja Vu rendition is amazing! Slick animation with the light getting smaller. It was maybe a bit too small to control easily, but very strange (in the best way) and creative game!! :)
And I think you didn't get to hear me growl (it's very rare, you need to be close to the tapeworm's head in order to be chased). Thank you very much from the whole team !
I listened to the OST you guys posted in Discord :D It seems like you all had a lot of fun putting this together--nothing better than that!
Love the tight controls and the idea
Oh wow, I would have never expected to find a racing kind of game in a halloween jam! Great game feel on the car and I love the idea of the FOV reducing when accelerating (just like it does IRL with speed). Great job
Really cool concept, but I think finding the keys are too hard and tedious. I spent the majority of the game stumbling around the dark. Maybe I just missed something... The atmosphere and the audio are really great though!
Thank you very much ! As the audio guy, it really warms my heart. In order to avoid being lost for too long, we put lights that go to the keys that you can follow, but they are way too rare and way too slow. We'll do better next time !
Cool mechanics!
whispers deja vu
I've just been in this place before
Also, it's really rare, but if you are chased by the tapeworm, you can hear me growl the song.
The speed/visibility tradeoff is really clever.
Thank you for playing !
