Nice game :) The darkness and lantern feature really make this more than just an average platformer. The positioning of the lanters is great, it is really helpful and that makes them central to my approach in each level rather than having me just running and jumping past everthing instead of playing the way it's intended (which is often the case with this genre).
Great job! :)
Thank you!
Really liked this game, it fits perfectly with the theme of the jam !! The movement is pretty smooth, which is important for platformers, it's nice :)
Thank you!
The game fits into the theme very well, and I like how you can progress without lighting a single lantern, but it's a lot harder, because you don't see the ghosts!
Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you liked it!
It's so spooky wading through the dark, praying to find a lantern! You have a great and fun atmosphere here and I'd love to see this expanded upon someday. Good stuff!!
Thank you, I'm actually thinking about expanding this idea and making a full game out of it!
Nice platformer! I liked the idea of lighting lanterns around the map, and the fact that more and more of the world is shown :)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
Cute little platformer! I've done something similar in the past so I know it's not easy to balance what you can see vs what you can't in order to make the game feel fair to the player, but you did it well :)
Thank you! It was indeed difficult to balance the levels and not make them too dark, so I'm glad you think I did that well!
Really great idea!
Thank you!
