Really nice game! It's very polished, has nice graphics and audio and a cool interesting way of delivering the story. It could use maybe 1 or 2 extra mechanics to spice up the gameplay. Good job overall!
Thanks for the feedback, TheoClarke! Yes, we know the core mechanics is quite solid but really simple; we plan to expand it a bit more after the voting session!
Thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed it :))
A very creative and interesting take on the theme. Good graphics and pleasant music combined with an interesting back story make the game great! I like it a lot!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I’m glad you liked it.
Sorry for the late reply
Super cute game with a really intriguing story!! I wish the levels were shorter, but the core gameplay itself is very well made. Squeezing through gaps in the guards' lights as they edge closer and closer... so exhilarating! Overall, very well-made and well-polished game with a good story to boot! Good job :]
Thanks Nomrom! We're very happy you liked our game :)
And yes, the balancing of times and requirements is definitely something we will study more in the future; sometimes I wish we had another 48 hours just for playtesting... Thanks for the appreciated feedback! ^^
i liked ur game.took me a little time to figure out who is actually the player but still a very nice game
Thank you! Truth be told, I briefly forgot who was the player once too. :'D
Nice job :) The controls are very smooth ! I think the pacing would be better if the levels were shorter.
Thank you for your feedback and for appreciating our entry! We'll keep it in mind for future games!
I enjoyed the game! I think I would have enjoyed it even more if there was more story per level or the levels were overall shorter. But the story pieces always felt like a reward and kept me playing to the end. Good job!
Thanks oHoodie! I'm so glad you liked our game!
We were unsure whether it was too much or not because we wanted to create some sort of difficulty progression in the game, alongside adding more guards and creating more challenging patrol paths. Looking back at our choice, maybe the other additions were enough... Thank you for your feedback. We'll keep it mind for our future games!
overall fun to play, i don't know if its a bug with the sound or a design choice but on level transition and at the start of the game there is a really bad skipping and buzzing sound rough on the ears.
Hi SilentYeti!
Yup, you’re right: we had some problems with the transitions between levels, and we’re still trying to figure them out 😢 We hope to fix everything just after the end of the voting session, because we know it’s not pleasing 😅
At least, we’re glad you find it fun to play :))
it should work fine on the executable (which also has a fog shader) though ٩(◕‿◕。)۶
Good game, controls feels nice, and the guards move in a way that gives the right amount of challenge!
Thanks Matt!
Being this a simple game, we wanted the main mechanics to feel “right” and satisfying. We’re happy to hear you appreciated it!
Thanks again :))
Came for the candies and fooling the guards, stayed for the story
Wow, thank you!
We tried to do something out of our comfort-zone and write a very simple and short plot; we know it’s far from perfect (it’s like… five sentences?), but we’re glad to hear it’s been appreciated!
Thanks for taking the time to play our game :D
Nice game :) I like the control very much, it felt smooth and spot-on. What I missed was sound effects and animations, though, I am aware it is done in 48 hours, so that is certainly a tall order ^^
Great game!
Thanks Fredrik! :D
The sound effects and the animations were the next step, but having only two days (well... even less for one of us ^^) we stuck to what we know best: mainly programming and art. But you're right: the game could have definitely improved with a bit of polishing!
Thanks for playing our game :)
