I couldn't play this game as I don't have people to play with right now, but looking at the video and the PDFs I really liked the idea. The art is very nice, the instructions and game board are made very well, and it looks like it's a lot of fun. I'll play it once I have people over.

I love the idea of this - love that it's cooperative and the design is just amazing! I couldn't get it to work properly on TTS (an issue with my TTS rather than the mod itself, I've been getting that with other games too) but I'm really looking forward to playing this properly once I'm able to.

I will have to use my imagination to rate this (or the TTS mod?) but straight off the bat I like that it's cooperative, and that it doesn't require fiddly setup. And Goodness me, the art and the instructions book look gorgeous

I had a lot of fun playing this, and the art style is really nice! Definitely found it tricky to stratergise in Phase 1, but I bet I'd get a bit better with practise

Developer

Yeah, I think it gets easier after a play or two. As I was playtesting it as I was going, I was definitely aligning on better ways to place the tiles in Phase 1. I guess it depends on what tiles get drawn, and you could be unlucky and draw all the dead ends right at the beginning of the game, but I figure it's a light enough game that people would just reset and try again. Thanks!

I made a load of rules mistakes when playing this - which is common when playing a boardgames having read the rules only once - but it was good fun!

We lost, but partially that was because we misinterpreted the rules against us, so I think the balance seemed reasonable. I'll have to give it a few more goes to know for sure though.

It looks beautiful and the rulebook is great. Well done.

I made a Tabletop Simulator mod of this at https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2056667815

So if anyone has TTS do check out the game there :)

You are the man!

I played using this Tabletop Simulator mod (but the forest tile bag isn't randomized so I just repeatedly got the same tile until it ran out and moved onto the next one. This if fixable inside the game, by bring them all out and fliping them over and randomly putting them back in, since the bag is last in first out ). As for the game I liked it cute co-op game though getting all dead ends at the start then all monster squares made it quite tricky :)

Can't you right click on the bag and shuffle?

Developer

Took me a little while to figure this out too, but yeah - shuffling the bag works a treat. Also, I found that the game spawned with tiles in the discard bag, so you have to drag those all back into the regular deck (and take out the blank/obstacle tiles), but otherwise great job!

I fixed the thing with tiles in the discard bag - and the blank tiles are on the table in the corner. I think it should all work fine now.
