Cool game!

I like how you can turn this game into a one-button game with the right upgrades (*cough* quad guns *cough*). It's really clever of you to have the two-button controls also apply to the upgrade screen.

Would love to see this expanded on with new waves, enemies, and upgrades!

overall graphicially the game was good, however it became very monotonous very fast. Got to around round 22 and just decided to rate then due to how repetitive the gameplay felt. I think if you add varying factors such as stronger/visually different enemies, and more varying spawns that aren't set (such as procedurally spawned), it could be a lot more interesting

Developer

Thank you for playing. Yeah I planned on adding more enemies, with a different spawn system, but ran out of time, and coded it not in the best way lol. Thank you for the feedback!

Very interesting game. The idea is cool, just thing there were a few more enemies that I can handle, but besides that, it was pretty fun.

A very interesting game! The graphics are amazing and the effects of destroying enemies are great. Roguelike is my favorite game genre, so I like the game even more. The choice of improvements as in classic bagels is made very convenient, and some cards that do nothing look funny

Developer

Thank you, it was my first time using Unity's particle system and effects with it so I'm glad it worked out! I'm glad the nothing card was funny looking enough as intended lol.

Pretty fun and satisfying gameplay! Great job.

Developer

Thank you so much!

This was fun, and sooo satisfying to watch the triangles blow up! I got stuck on wave 40 because a triangle stopped moving outside of the range of my cannons, but other than that it was great. The upgrade system was my favorite part - a good mix of utility and humor :)

Thank you! It was my first time using Unity's particle system and other effects, so I'm glad it all looked and felt nice. Yeah there is a bug there where some triangles will stop moving or move way to slow when another enemy dies near them, I did not have enough time once I saw it, but oh well that's a game jam lol. Thank you, I'm glad the upgradae system worked as intended!!!

In the beggining I didn't know that if you get to zero score you died. But After I realized that, the game is awesome! Really cool explosions when you kill an enemy, and the song is perfect. Also enjoyed the randomness of the upgrades after each level.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, definetly could have made that more obvious. I just thought it would be a nice balance to disincentivize spamming. Tahnk you though, I tried hard on those explosions lol. I like making little rouglike kind of games and I'm glad you enjoyed it too!

The game is a bit hard (or maybe I'm just bad as a gamer lol). I like the particles and visuals. Can't believe you put all this together in just 3 days! Nice job.

Developer

No yeah, it is a bit hard. I should have spent more time balancing, but always hard for me in a game jam lol. Thank you it was my first time doing stuff like that and I'm glad it all looked good! Thank you!!!

Isn't a very easy game. Could definitely be a bit more balanced. But overall not bad for the game jam. Great work!

Developer

Thank you! Thank you for the feedback! Yeah balancing was hard to do in the limited time.
