Great job, the gameplay was surprisingly satisfying, I loved performing the different attacks to defeat each enemy. I think if you wanted to expand on the concept it would be good if the levels had different environments, as it wasn't obvious when the level increased.

really neat concept! it was interesting playing a "survivor" style game and not moving! music and effects were nice. difficulty pacing I think is the one drawback but really incredible work for a jam, balancing is always a nightmare for me 😂
Yeah, I ended up making it too easy for fear of making it too hard...nice to know I'm not alone in my balancing struggles! :D
Also, I hadn't thought about it like a static "Survivor" game, but now that's given a million ideas of things I could've done, like powerups after beating X enemies an such...now I hope I had shared the game before the end of the jam!
Thanks a lot for the comment!
The range of attack options here is really good for just 2 buttons. It felt super good to master how to counter each enemy, and it really kept me on my toes when different types of enemies were spawning together. The pile of bodies, makes you feel pretty skilled too. I felt like the difficulty could have ramped up a bit faster, possibly by making enemies attack faster, reducing your window, but I had a lot of fun with this one, and the music was absolutely on point. Great game!
