I did find shooting the guys satisfying, and the part inside the house had a cool aesthetic, sad that i wasnt finished but you should work on it sometime.
Personally, I’m a huge fan of 2D elements within 3D space. So it’s really nice to see the shooter work. It reminds me of Wolfenstein 3D and Doom (the really old ones, showing my age here Q_Q).
I can see the ideas you have in mind with the shooter and the monster sneaking up. Would love to see it more fleshed out after the jam as 7 days are clearly not enough to finish this. Keep it up!
I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to be doing, even after getting killed by the shadow I managed to play the shooter game, which was a bit confusing. Regardless, good effort and I like where the idea is going!
Sad that its unfinished but it would've been great for sure. For the effor Gave it a five star rating would be great if you did the same :)
A shame it's unfinished, but I can see where this was going! Switching between a shooter where you're in control, to the cold reality where you're very vulnerable.
I like the atmosphere of the tv and shadow but I'm not sure I got the gameplay or the connection between the minigame. I do love doom shooters though so I'm not complaining. Would like to see more to this in the future
Always love doom shooters, I'd recommend centering the gun itself on the screen and maybe dropping it lower to prevent it from taking up so much space. Definitely got creeped out after leaving the game and looking to the right! Spooky
I wasn't sure if there was something to do outside of the game. I tried going into the game and shooting the people and getting out but the shadow thing still came after me. I like the art, but the characters walking felt a little stiff since they didn't animate. I think maybe some wobbling or bouncing up and down effect would make it feel more alive. I noticed the shooting was not coming out of the gun itself but the center of the screen. A quick fix might have been to have a raycast coming out of the gun.
