This game was really cute! I will let my kids (ages 2 & 5) try this out :) The BGM did get a little repetitive after a while though.

Adorable game. The graphics were a simple style, but very cute, and the music complemented it perfectly. There were two chests that wouldn't open, but other than that the game had a really clean and finished feel, which is hard to do for a jam game, so nice work :D
This is an extremely cute entry!
As a game, this feels like something I could easily see kids playing as it is cute, innocent, and strikes all the right strings for being child friendly.
However, as a standalone title, it does seem to lack much in mechanics. With chest hunting being the only element of the game, it makes for an experience that is rather lackluster.
If your target audience was children, you hit it on the mark with some seriously nice soundtrack and artwork. If your target was everyone, I would recommend going back and adding a bit more to do.
Overall, solid and cute little game! Good job!
Definitely agree, I could imagine letting kids of basically any age play this game, and see them enjoying it :)

A cute, simple game. Nice art and sound, though I think there could be a bit more going on or the area should be more dense.
Thank you so much. I had originally planned to have more buildings and a marketplace in the map with lots of interactable objects and animated pumpkins, etc but it had to be cut back a bit due to time. Might add some more detail after the jam

I love how big the map is, and the sound effects for the ghosts in the chests was great! MY screen on my laptop glitched out at one point and I was concerned you had added a jump scare in there LOL lots of fun, very cute :)
