Hey, played your game and recorded my playthrough. I enjoyed the arcade-y feel of the game and it was very satisfying to get a long combo, but I felt there were just a bit too many things on the screen at once.
Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback a lot. I agree with the overwhelmingness of how much is on the screen, that's the top thing I want to tune once I can edit the game again. My limits for spawning are way too high. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks again for the feedback!
Also just to address some things you were wondering:
Blue bubbles move at the "normal" speed, green bubbles are faster, yellow/brownish ones are slower.
The score is maxed out at +99, but bouncing on a x2 bubble will give you 198 points for that bounce only.
The hitbox is technically at the feet, which is why your head can go through stuff. I didn't want the player to bounce and instantly hit their head on a mine, though I'm unsure if using a feet hitbox was the best for this.
I have a new build that spawns in slower waves to keep things less chaotic, so I will update the game to that version once the voting period is over.
I couldn't find that game that was similar to mine that you mentioned, so you if happen to find it I would love to take a look! I'd love to see how it plays and what I can learn from it.

The developer even added a link to a Twitch vod I did where I got the high score haha. I enjoyed your game a lot and am looking forward to trying the less chaotic version.
A neat little game! I think it could have had a bit more ✨juice✨, like screenshake upon popping a bubble or getting hit, and having more impactful sounds. I think that would have made it even more addictive and enjoyable. The art was cute, but the UI felt a bit out of place with the other artstyle, and the character with a cartoonish and funny face but a more realistic body... weirded me out. Overall it was really well executed and a nice game!
Really fun game only, like how there are multiple controls. Only comment I have is that I feel like after a bit it becomes much easier as soo many bubbles start to spawn so at least I feel like its a lot easier to avoid the hazards. Great game though real fun.
The game is pretty challenging. But very fun to play. I played the game so many times. Well done!

This is an example of a game with really simple controls and gameplay, but executed just perfectly. The movement felt fluent and responsive, the animations and art felt just right. The simple controls and concept of jumping on bubbles paired with the chaos of all the obstacles everywhere was fun to master. Really nice work dude

It's a little too hard for me, I think reducing the bombs would be better. But still, it's a pretty fun game.
