This game is so good! I love the art style, and the mechanics with the mouse and keyboard are tricky at first but I've gotten the hang of it! After dying to the rising tentacles multiple times I've ended up quite enraged cause I had to start all the way back at the beginning but nevertheless it's still very fun! Nice job :)
Nice game! I like the art, and the music a lot! I think the gameplay could use a bit of revamping, seeing as there are a good amount of people on the team. Other than that, I love the whole hellish theme accompanied by the music, as well as the ability to shoot and bludgeon vile hell beings! Nice work.
Amazing. Now, it took me a good minute to figure out how to play, seeing as I didn't use the hints. Eventually, I found out! I started to read the code- I understood it. I knew what to do next. I finally sacrificed the disk and made my way to the large room with the two distant doors and found new arrows. I followed them, and it was time- the this was the way to break the loop- this is what the code stated- I was going back to the previous iterations. Eventually, I had made it. The system break. I sharp ending, but it made sense. I wish there was more to the ending, as I put good time for this. However, it was still enjoyable to figure out the puzzle.
I really enjoyed the game; despite the fact I accidently dropped my item multiple times instead of opening the door and then opened the door to find I didn't have my item... and the fact that the art was pretty simple... and the fact that the music was also pretty simple. I thought the puzzle was pretty smart, and I loved how all the answers were in the code- you just had to take a second to read and understand what it all meant.
Great work. I wish you luck <3.
Hey, Kenney! I understand this isn't the most ideal place to contact you, but I couldn't find many other places to. I just wanted to ask you for help with my game jam. I've tried researching it, but I couldn't find many recourses. I really want my game jam to be somewhat successful, but I'm not sure how to achieve this. Is there some way I could contact you if you're willing to help besides through game comments? T^T
Thanks, and I know I'm crazy, but is collab out of the question? I feel I have a great idea and a good visual start, if you'd like I could share them with you.
Thank you!!!
P.S. Let me know if you want this comment taken down!
Nice game! I think 4 hours is amazing, however, maybe a bit more time to give the game some love would do good. I found myself stuck at the 4th level maybe? The music is a bit repetitive. HOWEVER, I must cut you slack, and admit, I would 100% not be able to make this level of a game in that short amount of time! I hope it doesn't sound like I'm downgrading your game, I just want to make a few notes on things to tweak. Besides slack, I truly believe this game has a LOT of potential and I quite like the concept! Nice work, I wish you luck! ;3
I like your game a lot! I think the only reason why not many people have rated your game is because of your presentation, specifically the thumbnail and graphics resolution. Besides that, I believe your game has SO MUCH potential with visual renovations and more levels! I completed the game and I love the concept and I want more story! The idea with looking through peepholes as a way to peek into the levels INSIDE A BOX is very creative! Nice work.
Amazing game! The music goes with the gameplay very well! I love the secret path, though It's not much help when you die afterwards. I think this game might be able to become a rage game only because you have to know what the controls are pretty well in order to properly progress. I also wasn't able to progress as far as I wanted because many parts were pretty difficult and I would get reset back to the start. Besides that, I think it's a cute game with a cute player and a cute thumbnail! Amazing potential! P.S. I made it sideways through a secret path, but not sure how much of a feat that is... :)
Nice game! At first, the controls weren't working, but after a couple reloads it was great! I love the idea and the screen showing where I am as the vessel shakes. The sound effects are also pretty good. The game is a little slow, so after getting reset I wasn't sure if I wanted to try again. I will say, though, it is cool to see what you've run into on the camera. All in all, amazing game, it has great potential, and especially great for 3 days. Nice work!
Interesting game! I like the idea, and the concept, I just couldn't get fitting the parts in. I tried for a while, but to no avail. I guess I haven't tried out the tools enough? The art is great, however, and the thumbnail especially caught my attention! The music gets a bit repetitive, considering I made many attempts, but other than that I think this game has great potential!
(Also the physics were bugging out big time ^~^)
I like it! It's nice, and I like pixel art! The only problem I had was that it was pretty tricky to figure out the recipes. The more ingredients, the harder it got. I also felt myself spamming ingredients in order to hasten the process instead of focusing and thinking about it. I think it's a great start, and especially good for 3 days! Nice work!
