Loving the game! One thing that I enjoyed most is the 'Fuel' mechanic. When I first started I was just flying around endlessly, and pretty much losing instantly.  But then I realized I actually had to calculate my movements to reach the collectibles and everything was smooth sailing from there.

Thank you for your feedback!

im very happy that you enjoying our game, its very nice to hear that!

Hey nice concept, similar to mine but I like the concept of a fuel meter and powerups and gas refills. Great aesthetics (aside from the darkness) as people have said! A bit more playtesting and this would be a fun game, but right now it takes too much fuel to maneuver so it's not a super rewarding gameplay loop for me. A lot of potential though!

Thank you for your feedback!

i know the game is hard but its an issue and its not supposted to be so hard and floaty. im about to fix that and i am happy you liked the concept!

Played this on stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1852041404?t=0h36m40s

Would appreciate more screen space to move around in. In other words, making the sprites much smaller and space things out a little bit. The character was a bit too floaty to feel fair sometimes.

I really liked the visuals, but they were a little too dark on my monitor.

Keep up the good work! Would love to see some abilities or powerups.

Thanks for the feedback!

we already know what is going on with the bad controlls. its a bug and its not supposted to be that floaty. if you want to try it out with the better controlls you have to download the game. we are currently about to fix that bug for browser. we really appreciate your feedback and your tips.

Good job!

  • I liked how quickly you died, It made me super on edge the whole time
  • Some UI suggestions here, don't put dark text over an even darker background. I would switch all your text to be white. It'll improve the legibility a ton.
  • Controls for this kinda game can be a bit hard, since the ships perspectives don't match the player. So its hard to give a "right" solution here, but I would still invert the movement directions currently set.
  • Because the game's so dark the galaxies really stood out. I would brighten the ship up a bit and darken the galaxies. I kept trying to "collect" them. I highly recommend watching some "Color theory in shmups" videos. Shmups have some of the best color theory in games, because its so vital to the game.
  • The game's graphics were great!

Thank you very much for your feedback!

I'm glad you liked the game. we will take your tips into account. We know the game is really hard and we spent a lot of time trying balance it but we didnt really find a good solution. i dont actuall know why we invert the controlls but now we know that we should stop doing so.

the game is very difficult but luckily it is easy to balance that, good game!

thanks for the feedback. i know its very difficult, but its an issue and the game should be easier. normaly the player is way faster and much more easily to controll. try download the game if you want, that fixed the issue for many.

Your aesthetics are out of this world - literally! Excellent job!

I couldn't get past the controls - if you could add an option for them to not be inverted that would be amazing! But otherwise you did an excellent job with this submission I hope that you might be able to check out my work as well!
