Amazing concept. Really fun to play. As others have already pointed out, the detection range could've been a bit bigger than direct touch only. I think with upgraded visuals, effects and so this could really have potential on the mobile game market!
I felt that the detection of chains could be a little iffy sometimes, and I struggled to use the controls in a skillful way (rather than just kinda tossing things around and hoping it works out.) but that said, I think this is one of the more innovative games I've seen in the jam. I found the concept pretty compelling and played for a while.
Interesting concept, but I feel like the result is more reliant on luck rather than skill. You have very little control over how the balls move towards you. Also, sometimes the balls don't form a chain, even though they're clearly touching. But overall a nice idea and a unique take on the theme. Good job!
Thank you for the feedback!
Indeed I feel the player lacks control, that's why I added repel but it might not be that useful. I would probably iterate on more interesting physics in moving chains around so it would be more dynamic.
I can barely pass 2000 i must have missed something, how do you manage to score 10k ? I probably just suck
Thank you for playing!
Did you try holding the left button for a while so to make longer chains?
Although I think 11k was the score before I did some rebalance, now it turned out more challenging and I think 7k is more real.
I love the Match 3+ gameplay!
However you are able to cheese it just by holding down the pull button!
Thank you for the feedback!
well, yes it's one way to keep the magnet on constantly, although at later levels it might block some chains, so not a dominant strategy
