The pretty nice art style and music. But gameplay requires polishing.

Cool art, animations and background music were fire. Few things I didn't like:
- One of the hearts (in right down corner) was out of the screen.
- It took too long for the main enemy ("spear-thrower") to attack.
- Manual (would look better if you would move it elsewhere), adding sounds for hits etc. would be cool.
Other than that it was astonishing.
I'm not sure what the game exactly is. I tried clicking on the retry button after dying, it just keeps refreshing the game over-screen. I didn't manage to get a single score point, even though I dodged the enemies. Feels like it was incomplete.
Very nice art style and sound !
Pls rate mine also - https://itch.io/jam/scorejam13/rate/1045688
Art style is really nice, as well as the music. The game doesn't feel complete, however. I usually get one shot, due to lack of invincibility frames, and the player doesn't move fast enough to escape the snakes when they're not dashing. Also when I die, clicking restart instantly kills me because I'm assuming it's still calculating the collisions in the background. Consider adding invincibility frames, increasing player speed, and disabling the game state with a simple bool while the player is dead. I really want to like it but its hard to when I have to reopen the game every time I die.
