First off, congrats on your first game ever made!!!
Second, what I haven't seen mentioned that was SUPER good, was the music. Whenever the pumpkin came to life hold...I was wearing headphones and it made hairs stand up on the back of my neck!
Also nice work on the models! Even though an outline shader on the vegetation would have been more work, I think it took away from the scary vibe slightly.
The ghost behavior got a bit wonky at times, one of them moved like it was being dragged along the ground horizontally, which was funny so I enjoyed it.
The art assets were very good, particularly the pumpkins. Pretty sure you didn't make the humans from scratch though, they were from the asset pack provided for the jam (referring to your description).
On my second attempt, the pumpkin couldn't eat me but instead kept pushing me, so I won. The humans also pushed me, not sure if they were meant to kill me.
Congratulations on your first game! Have fun with your future projects!
Yes! Got all three candies. Gave you a high star mark for the visuals, which were very good. Though I find the cartoony style very nice, I would have been more scared if it weren’t cartoony. I loved what you did in Blender with the custom models!
At some point the big monster kept running and humping against me, but I seemed immortal at that point. I’m not complaining because that made that I could win the game.
