Think there was a bug where your spawners and it made the game practically unplayable sadly. It looked really nice but in 10 minutes or so, I made it about 2 inches across the screen.
Would like to see a patched version of this as pgm games need more love.
Thanks for Playing! Yeah it basically swarms you as you spawn so if you dont start attacking quick its GG. I enjoyed making this but I didnt spend enough time during the jam working on it. Pgm is great but i think I remake this in Godot,UE5 or Action Game Maker when it comes out.

All of the enemies in the level just swarm your position so that you're just hitting mobs until they're gone. You can't even move until you've killed everything. Then you've just got an empty stage to go through until you get to the boss, which is fine since they're short stages. It's obviously designed with this in mind, but it's just button mashing. Hit attack until everything's destroyed. It's basically a step up from an idle clicker. In fact, if you tied attack to the left click, I could just turn on my mouse clicker and forget about it.
It's a very pretty game. Nice sounds and music.
Thanks for playing ! I had the same idea about the idle clicker. If i had enough time in the jam I would definelly test combat way longer to get a good feel down but as is it's more like a 2d beat em up vampire surviors.
Fun Simple little game! i like the varied cast of characters and the arcade beat em up nature of the game. but it did get repetitive down the line once you realize every character and stage plays the same. i like the variety within each level aesthetic wise but wish it was the same for the playstyles!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, I rushed this jam so a lot of stuff, including the combat playstyles stuff so I didnt have time to refine and make each character unique enough playstyle wise. I wanna remake it in a different engine and refine it.
