Great game. sweet azz visuals, really cool puzzles, and really unique mechanics I don't think I've ever seen in an RPGmaker game.  I wasn't the biggest fan of the block pushing puzzles but I managed and I liked every other puzzle. I wasn't the biggest fan of having a lot of the things I needed to interact with be activated by player touch, I found myself running into a couple things and accidentally interacting with them. But I assume this is because the interact key is being used by the magnet claw. It's a minor complaint. I the last puzzle before you repair engine somewhat annoying because I didn’t think the magnetic arm would be able to go through the wall to access the last area. It took me longer than I’d like to admit. But everything else for the most part was fine. I loved the final resident evil style run through all the maps. The fact that the maps can be progressed through forwards and backwards just shows how good the mapping was. I ended up getting the best ending. 5 different endings is pretty wild so good on that.

Great game. Keep up the good work.

PS Amaru reminded me of Karen from Spongebob.

Very cool atmosphere and nice presentation. Ok puzzles. The tool going through the boxes looks a bit bad. Not sure why I got the extinction ending? I just tried to interact with the core object and got a game over. Didn't feel like playing through the final section again to try something different.

Thanks for playing! The bad ending only happens if you fail the  hold on the engine core repair.

This game looks really cool! Wish I can play it, but unfortunately I'm on a Mac computer :_(

Any chance of posting a mac or web build?

Developer(+1)

I'll try a web build after the jam and give you ping

Really enjoyed playing this title, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the opportunity o play as a robot to save humanity was a blast. Puzzles were well though out, and the progression, the player makes by learning new upgrades and abilities to conquer the harder puzzles. Over-all not a bad game and wouldn't mind seeing more of this nature in the genre. Great Job!!!

This was a very cool experience! I loved the presentation and vibe so much of the game, the atmospheres, the tilesets, sound effects, really captured the environmental storytelling so well! Made me sympathize with the poor robot even! xD Very fun mechanics and puzzles, but sadly puzzles have never been my strongest suit. x( :( So I got stuck on one of em lol!

I think some of the message dialogues have too many long pauses, especially the ones where the computer systems are being scanned or when objectives show up.

Also,  players can potentially get soft-locked here? Or maybe its just a me thing with puzzles lol. I accidentally got both purple boxes together and now cant do anything x( Maybe there's a reset button anywhere? But I had to reload to try again.

Overall! This is a very cool atmospheric entry that definitely went beyond expectations with the mechanics! I had a ton of fun using the magnet tool to jump from area to area! The tilesets were greatly used! Great job on this entry, Slaughty! <3

oh no's, sorry you got stuck. I debated putting a reset puzzle switch and I guess I should have. Thanks for playing and the kind words ☺

Hot damn, that was a nice experience! Got the best ending despite sitting at 19/20 repaired.

Good game! probably one of my favorite games this jam!

i encountered a weird bug in the engine room puzzle where i fixed all the terminals but the door to the core wouldn't open. managed to make it work by reloading an earlier save, but it was definitely an odd bug.

Developer

thanks for the bug report! I'll look into it ASAP
