The beginning in my opinion seems a bit too slowly "evolving". But I like the instrumental choice and the groove you put on later. Quite cool piece!

Are those Uilleann pipes from Spitfire LABS? I've been trying them out recently, they're a lot of fun to use! I like the unique atmosphere you create with your instruments and the scale, I wonder if you could vary the main theme a bit more as the music progresses to make it more engaging for listeners. From the beginning to around 2:20, the music seems to stay largely consistent, being based around the main theme for the entirety of that duration. I think taking the focus off of the main theme once in a while will help your music have more variety and engagement. You have some nice ideas when the music expands into a new section at 2:20 and onward, maybe you could sprinkle those ideas even earlier in the piece to keep the listeners on their toes.

YEAH! Love it. Voices and  Uilleann pipes in LABS incredibly good and inspirational.

You're right. Its part from another try for this jam and slightly connected to other material.

The groove is amazing, interesting instruments choice and great use of the scale. It truly feels exotic and it flows so well. Yeah, mixing could be improved, and I think this tracks deserves a mix that stands to the quality of the composition, which is so good for me

I have some tracks similar to your submission to this jam. And its cool that you approve it! Rare to find other people immersed in odd time signatures and nonstandard grooves. I'll try fix sound)

Yes! That's why I was so happy to find your track. This kind of grooves really takes me to another place when I listen to them. During Jamuary I made a song with a weird time signature every day, if you want to check it out https://on.soundcloud.com/cLTh7 :D of course I'd be happy to hear more from you as well

I like your tendency to resolve the leading tone on beat 3. It gives it a unique cadence.

Using 5/4 time without it being like a spy or super hero theme is really hard. I think you made it work with the choir. good job.
