Title
The Whole Step

Description
The prompt image looks like a mix between a dreamscape and a hellscape. I though the whole tone scale would be perfect for exploring that. It has a very dreamlike quality, but limitation to only it makes it a dream you are stuck in. Or is it a nightmare?

You managed to make a cohesive piece out out of the whole tone scale, very impressive!  Going for a jazz sound I think was a great choice with all the dissonance that gets introduced.

Pure gold. Adore it. Except its short. On this jam one of my favs with The Tiny Whistle In the Deep Valley. Unique and smooth sound that hard to achieve.

Really like the vibe, and how the piece feels very improvisational yet feels 'right' despite the tough scale you're working with. Great job!

It's very interesting, because it feels like it should be wrong, but then it actually flows and it's enjoyable. I think the jazz drums do an amazing job at keeping everything together and giving the jazz feel which somehow works well with the whole tone scale (at least in this case!). Brave attempt and good result

Good job for using such a restrictive mode. Maybe it would have elevated the piece to have a "B" part with another mode. Nice vibe overall.

Whole tone seems REALLY difficult. I don't think I could do it. Props to you for taking it on.
