We know how it feels when the level design doesn't work out in time 😭
Don't you worry though, everything else is amazing, especially the art!

Great game! I want more! Very creative! I was lucky I had my laptop right next to me otherwise I wouldn't have been able to play it because of a bug that makes the carrot go speedy (delta) and I also think that the collision of the enemies were a bit too big vertically, besides that, keep going! keep working on this! Ggs, and thank you for joining!!

Also, Tricky, you did great art!! do more!!!

Yes, we forgot to multiply by delta in the character controller. 😅 Oops. Everyone who tested it had old slow computers, so the problem only became visible after I saw Temptic play it. Awww, so sad. 😥😓 We worked very hard on it.

I made far more levels, drawings, enemies, bars, character animations, etc. There just wasn't time to implement those anymore. The original idea was 3 acts followed by a runner. This game is also made on tylenol / paracetamol, because both Dinocrys and I fell ill during the jam. 😀 Great timing as always. Haha!  Will upload a better version after the jam, so the pirate and castle version are also playable.

Thanks for the review, qMezu! Also, wow! A big thanks for trying it on your laptop, I don't think any other person would go the extra mile to do that! You're so, so, very sweet! We love youuuu! ❤️

I love the creativity in this game, it gives a nice whimsy to this idea that you're playing a performance for people. Very fun, nice work!

Very amazing art Tricky! Cool take on the theme, but I feel like the movement was very uncomfortable to use. And so was the weapon itself.

Fantastic art design and theming! I did think Carrodino himself was hard to control at times with his movement, but everything else is great!

Awesome show! I love to guide Carrodino and his trusty rapier through his journey on the stage. The fencing has kind of a strange hitbox though and there is not much difficulty scale (apart from when you just neglect to fight any enemies and do dodge only for the first couple minutes… which I may or may not have done :D) Again, wonderful show to watch and explore! Thank you for sharing that piece of art with the community!
