Jo somehow we also made a game about throwing sushi around. I love your game and the idea is very funny even though I don't get the concept of having "to much sushi" ;>. The game looks so pretty. Good job.
Bonus points for sushi.

Thank you very much for the kind words and for the feedback. The concept was to make a game inside an all you can eat restaurant where you have to pay an extra fee for the sushi you leave. The player is full so the sushi you are throwing is the one you can't eat and you don't wanna pay. In a future update we'll add a little explanation ;)

I don't quite know how to say it right. You have nice graphics and a nice mood and a nice setup, but why am I throwing sushi? Does it get any cheaper if you throw it on others people's plate? More importantly: How do I throw sushi? Aiming at the food and picking things up is the hardest part. I think it would be better if you could just tap on the sushi, the sushi starts floating in front of you and then you flick it with a swipe.

That way it could be a really addictive casual game.

Also, the other customers could kind of react on you throwing sushi at them.

Thank you for you feedback! This is our first real jam, so every piece of constructive criticism really helps.

A lot of the issues you pointed out really have to do with us running out of time to finetune the mechanics.

I'll try to answer your questions in order:

-Why you are throwing the sushi: the game is set in an All You Can Eat restaurant, so if you order more food than you can consume, you have to pay an additional fee for each piece that you haven't eaten.  Originally, having food left on your plates would mean losing the game. We had to change that because there was no more time to implement it. We will try to make the context more clear with future updates.

-How to throw sushi: we added instructions in the game project's description, in later updates we will add them as you start the game as well.  Thank you for the suggestion about the tap/swipe, I agree that it would work a lot better than what we have now! Having the customers react to the food (and even eat it happily) was in our plans, but  we were running short on time.

Again, thank you a lot for your contribution!
With a bunch of fixes, let's hope it really does become an addictive casual game! :D

Loved the graphics and the music, it fits the theme and it looks awesome!

Now, once I take the sushi piece, it I throw it away the score remains to 0, if this is not what i'm supposed to do, a tutorial would be really helpful ^^

Developer

Hello! Thank you for your feedback!

To score points you have to throw the sushi inside other's people plate.

We should have included the instructions inside the game, but we were late for delivery, so we will add them inside the game page.

Thank you again ^>^
