Great take on the theme relating it to the chameleon. I loved the visual feedback we got from the chameleon to let us know the colors are about to change. I think I would have liked some sort of information to where tiles are going to be popping in and out because at times I would find myself getting squished and losing a level because a platform would appear where I thought it wouldn't be. Fun to play through though, great entry!
There have been a lot of awesome games this jam, but I think this is my favorite so far.
You have a lot to be proud of here! Color swapping was a big running theme but I think automating the process makes it much more interesting, and having the chameleon glow is a perfect way to telegraph it. The audiovisual presentation is great too, kind of reminds me of the golden era of Flash games.
I also appreciate the level design. There are only 5 but each one challenges the player in a unique way and you got the difficulty just right. The colors are also swapped quickly enough that I never feel like I'm just standing and waiting around for things to change. Excellent job.
I love the artstyle, its so cute!
Movement feels a bit slippery and floaty but the concept is there and I love the flow state you enter sometimes trying to collect all the pieces in one solid run. Left me wanting for more levels so i hope you continue the concept sometime.
This game have one of the best level design of this Jam.
The progression and difficulty is really on point, and that make the game feel really good.
Perhaps a little more fine-tuning of the player's movements or polish on the effects would have made the game really very good.
Nice concept and realisation overall :)
Unique idea with having the chameleon switch the colors! Overall, the game was very fun!
Fun game, liked the fact you didnt control the color switching, which makes it all more managable to play. I did count more than 2 colors.
Very good and polished game!
The art style matched the sound and the gameplay matched the art. I love the timed switch, adds a unique twist. You guys should definitely explore this concept further.
Thanks for the good words! I'm really glad you enjoyed!
Cute and well done.
