This is such a unique take on the theme. I love the gameplay and concept and was certainly surprised to see the customer's true colors. My only critiques are the movement can be a little too slidy at times so it became a little difficult to start a task and I would have liked some diagonal movement. Overall this has been my favorite submission for this jam. Great work!

Beautiful art style, The dynamic between serve mode and survive mode really makes the game feel so unique. Although the movement felt a bit too slippery for me and the hitboxes for the prompts to do the actions felt a bit too small and punishing too, overall its a solid entry, good work!
I think everyone who has worked with customers has had an experience like this XD I like the presentation, the animation and sound effect especially. Both the running/gathering and the bullet avoiding gameplay are fun. Also a unique take on the theme itself.
I was able to make 24$ :)
I love this game. The animations are small and cute, but very expressive. I really love the way that the character sort of slides on the ground as they come to a halt, and the controls are just slippery enough that they make the game challenging. That movement system and the cute animations elevate the simple concept. My only small issue is that it's sometimes unclear how close I have to be in order to grab the item I need, but it works well most of the time.
I also think this is a fantastic use of the theme. You interpreted the theme as two sides of the customer's mental state, which is super unique and works really well. I really love how the game is overall very cute but a little creepy too, with how drastically things change.
Excellent job!! Great game.
EDIT: I just noticed that I can hold the button and approach an item, and the character will immediately start to fill up the cup. So this helps a bit more with the small issue I had.
That's impressive, i did not manage to go higher than 16$ during my test.
Thanks a lot for your kind review :) !
I'm happy that enjoyed it ! And that you've understoodd my take on the theme ;)
I have put a bit to much time on the feeling of charactere movement so i'm glad you noticed it.
I'll think of adding a WASD support for my next game.
And yeah i didn't see the issue because i was holding X to catch the item during my test ^^
Fun game! The player movement felt fantastic, and the art style fit the game well! I enjoyed this one!
Not really fitting the theme, but quite fun. Controls are a little hard and needs WASD. Cool concept tho
The game is good and fun. Art style is unique and I like how the 8 bit sound/music matched the 8 bit art style. Cool touch there.
While I see where your coming from with the theme, I don't believe that fits it correctly but the whole point of a theme is that it's your interpretation so...
PLEASE add WASD support. I have a 60% keyboard so it was a pain switching between the arrow keys and X/C. It would be a nice QOL feature.
This customer is so demanding. Liked the aesthetics and concept. - Customer true colors
Wow thanks a lot, following the fun was my priority.
I didn't follow strictly the theme, I thought about customers, and i tried to represent those two colors, making maybe a pun with true colors. But i addmit i was not sure about the people perception of the theme so i tried to emphasize the theme with two main colors.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback :D!
