I like the game,

The art is really nice and it feels good to play.

The controls are nice, I think it would feel nicer to move towards the direction of the mouse rather than the opposite though. Although it adds a nice intense feeling to the gameplay.

I also feel like the shield goes away too fast, maybe it should be held to keep active and then it recharges instead of using it then waiting till it can be used again,

I also think the camera is too close, and the zoomed-out version is too far, maybe a dynamic one where you can change it to how much you like it would be better

There were some movement jitter every now and then but nothing game breaking,

I think adding some extra combat, powerups/upgrades, a bigger world, and maybe some procedural generation would be such a nice idea to expand. I'd love to this going further

Brilliant entry, very clean and polished! BIG fan of the music and tone throughout, definitely nailed the theme of Exploration too.

1) Is the controls of the game clear
I think so, though I missed the popup for how to use the aegis shield the first time and didn't know how to use it! I eventually noticed the controls are in the "bars" on the top left though, maybe they could stand out a little more? Regarding the controls, I really liked how it was a fresh take on how to move the ship by having your cursor behind it to move. It led to some intense moments where I was trying to navigate through asteroids and space pirates while frantically swinging my mouse around to make sure I was going the right way!

2) Rate the difficulty curve of the game
I think it gradually increased well, it never felt unfair once I figured out the aegis, in fact it was quite satisfying when taking out multiple ships at once with it. And when Minotaur shows up, it really heightens the sense of urgency when it gives chase. There were some ways to cheese it just a little by getting it stuck on some asteroids, but I found it was usually able to navigate it's way back around them and chase after me again.

3) What is the most memorable moment from your playthrough?
Either
1) The first time I saw Minotaur, who kind of blended into the orbit of the sun (like it was one of those pirate spawn points) and then started moving towards me
2) Finding the habitable planet, I think you nailed the atmosphere through-out and the sense of relief and genuine joy of finding the goal at the end was spot on, especially with the music.

Overall I really enjoyed it, and I'd love to see more, however you can build on the idea! (Procedural level layout, ship combat, multiple levels, etc., just as top of the head ideas). Very nicely done!

This is really good. The controls are definitely clear. The UI is simple and clean and I pretty much knew what I had to do right away. So points for "teaching". The game is polished. It was exciting to play which is rare. My moment was actually early when I got to a planet and thought I was clear but my tail handed to me by that second ship. I was mad but made me want to keep playing. I think it's pretty balanced as is but need to play more to see. Is there a windows version? I think it will work well with a gamepad. Also not major but wish I could zoom out with ctrl and it stays at that zoom level and then a way to reset default but that may be confusing for some. Not sure. Anyway this is a keeper as is.

Very fun game but I did have a bug where the shield bar wouldn't fill (it got fixed after dying)

1) The control were very clear

2) difficulty is good but the indestructible one is a bit fast

3) crashing into the sun

If you replace all the individual parts of a spaceship one by one, at what point does it stop being the original spaceship? :)

Great game, loved the controls and intuitive UI for the gas and aegis. I don't really get the point of zooming out but was glad it was included.

The first three planets were pretty easy, but the difficulty spiked at the 4th planet when I was swarmed by 3 or 4 small ships and 2 big ones. Perhaps the 3rd planet could introduce the player to big ships by having one or so ship of each defending it.

My most memorable moment was when I thought the sun was the next planet I had to explore, and then I realized that the sun is most likely not a habitable planet :D

Great game.

This is a nice idea. The controls are clear to me. The combat needs a bit of improvement as it is just pressing space to bring up the shield, and near the planets they should have gravity as it feels a bit weird without it. Most memorable moment is being overwhelmed by a big spaceship and loads of little ones! Well done, keep working on it :)
