REALLY enjoyed the mechanic of this.  The game even locked up and I rebooted to keep playing.


 Would dig this as a mobile app with randomly generated levels (would also work if you did it with sliding tiles w/numbers on them instead of hats, though the rats/hats/bats was very cute)


Only one issue: hard to tell exactly who has more hats when it's very close. A few times I lost a level because I didn't realize they had one more than me.

Thanks for the kind words! If I polish this game up post jam, I might just look into making it mobile friendly. 

Good point about it being hard to tell how many hats there are. There are two different hat heights and I didn't consider how that would affect the gameplay. It's something I would look at on the revision.

Honestly? Pretty solid! I was sold on the rats, I was sold on the slighlty confusing puzzle (at first) and I was definitely sold on the "cutely murdering bats because those hats belong to the rats" bitt!!! Fun little game!!
