A couple days ago I wondered why no one was creating strategy games on game jams. You did. Good job.

Agreed with some of the other users here on the safeguarding against breaking the economy. I learned too late about needing a market to get money and being out of money, and needing wood to build lumber yards, and being out of wood. Otherwise, it kept me captivated and I really enjoyed the art style and the way you made things interact to produce the resources (villagers attacking the cows to get food, etc.) Well done and an impressive feat to be done over just a weekend!
I really like the systems, but I would recommend putting in some safeguards, so players don’t mess up the economy. For example the only building, that produces stone requires stone as resource. So if you’re out of stone, you’re out of stone, with no way to get more.
UI Layout is fine, but it doesn’t function properly. Menu won’t stay open, some clicks are not registered
Overall great entry, considering the time span
Really impressive that you made this in two days. It seems like a ton of work was done making all of the art and enemy + villagers ai. Im guessing the unity webgl resolution totally messed up the UI, but this was really enjoyable and really cool for a weekend jam. I do wish the finish was not 60 days but it was really impressive you made all those buildings in just 2 days. Really cool game
Idea and realization are nice, but 60 days challenge is too long. How big raiders army will be near 60 day? on 5 day there were 2 boats of them
Wow very addicting. One of my favorite games of the jam so far! Few bugs here and there, I was a noob and just started building stuff without seeing what everything did, and I ended up with 0 coins before I ever built a Market to passively gain coins. Great job on this though, I'm for sure going to come back to this and get further.
Very good and addicting game, and impressive that it was done in 2 days
A few bugs here and there, but overall very fun to play. 2 recommendations: removing collision between the people and structures because they get stuck often; and looking into optimization of entities and performance because the game gets laggy by day 10 with 200 villagers. Very addicting gameplay overall though, awesome work!
Very impressive scale for only 48 hours work! I enjoyed a lot of the game especially placing lights but found myself confused often as there was no/little indicators of resources increasing. But overall, very cool!
Fun and enjoyable gameplay, awesome work.
I had a bug when my game started lagging and some viking teleported between my buildings and got stuck there.
This game looks really great. I tested it for a while, and the AI is super cool. Unfortunately, I have trouble managing the economy, especially after a while when the Vikings attack and kill my villagers. But that’s part of the game and what gives it its unique edge.
The only negative points are the UI issues if the game is in a small or large resolution, and some NPCs and minor bugs, like a guard camp with a negative number of workers.
Interesting idea and interesting mechanics and interesting strategy interesting everything :)
Well done team! RTS is a tough genre for 48 hours! Let’s play : https://f002.backblazeb2.com/file/sharex-hN8T5vpN8wZGmmwU/2024/June/02/22/02/19/753/ae41ef04-88d0-4781-9ae4-22551881782c/2024-06-02%2021-57-14.mp4
