I think this is a really interesting exploration of how you can tell minimalist stories with game mechanics - quick, to the point, very intuitive. I'm not sure if I would play a whole anthology, but the idea of having access to quick bits like this for various individual fragments of history I'm looking into is really nice.
The art looks pretty great. But my history suck so I don't understand these
Thanks for the comment. To be honest, I don't think there is much to understand it's just a love story so don't worry.
Very cool! Concise and stra- uh gay to the point. Could've mentioned the controls somewhere, took me a while to figure out it's down arrow, also I'm not sure if it's the engine or something, skip animation and next dialog both being the same button makes me worried if I'd accidentally skip a line :(
There's another one about sharing a peach, forgot if it's the same guy. I'm not good at names lol
Yeah you're right about the controls I could put them somewhere. I got so used to the engine and how it works that I forget that it's the case for everyone. Thank you for the comment.
And the peach story is someone else but it's also a cool story.
Nice game! Pretty short, but the art and overall gameplay feels really cozy, and it has a good history lesson too! I would love to learn some more history in this style.
Thank you for the comment

Thank you !
short but sweet!
Thank you

A small, charming game AND a history lesson! Nice use of the Bitsy engine in the second scene, it was a surprise.
Thank you, I love cheating my way into making an engine do what I want without programming much haha.
An awesome Bitsy game!! It made me tear up a little, not gonna lie. The way you put it together is very pretty! :)
Oh thank you !
I love the games you made also.
Such a lovely use of Bitsy, and a cute way to learn something new! Im a sucker for games like this where you just help the narrative play out, I would gladly play a whole anthology series of these.
Thanks for jamming!
Thank you and thank you also for the jam !
