  • Cute game with a pretty solid theme implementation. The world of these lil frogs was fun and it was an enjoyable experience. The movement speed was a bit slow, but I feel that was intentional based on the level design. Solid game!

Can you make it to the pond in the scorching sun?!

A short cosy 3D platformer about a frog on his journey to a cool pond while avoiding the scorching sun, swigging drinks transmuted by a magical friend to keep him going.

Very cute. I love the frog, the dialogue is great, and the powerups are fun. My only criticism is that it's difficult to gauge when my jump distance is going to fall off. It seems like I'm losing momentum mid-air sometimes, but that might just be because it happens very suddenly. I still enjoyed the platforming though, well done :)

What a wonderful entry! adorable, fun and just all around pleasent, the only critique I could have is I wish there was more.

Edit: And is there a way to get to the islands in the background? DLC maybe???

Great Job!

Super cute, love the jumping animation 🐸
Fun platforming!

Very very adorable, simple and cutesy. Very fun escalation of challenge. Satisfying platforming and can opening. Even though it might have been more reasonable to have had the upgrades be permanent, the sound effect is worth it.

I've been dying for a 3D platformer! The coffee jump is a little demanding, but the little frogs are adorable!

Followup: Tricky and fun! The checkpoints were actually pretty forgiving.

Sadly, I cannot make it to the pond. I'm just a hot frog. This is a super-cute game. Well done!

Damn this was so fun! Could have easily played for some more levels. Really cool to figure out the shadow mechanic, and the wizard frog level-ups, unlocking the other paths, and the guilt mechanic over the frogs being too cute and feeling bad for cooking them in the sun. Honestly an all around great game.

nice shadow idea! and these legs are the best! so cozy tho I thought its super hard xD

Glad you found it cosy, exactly the vibes we were aiming for :) If I were to work on this more, I'd definitely fix the swings in difficulty - it's harder than we intended it to be at parts!

This game is so cute and fun! The frog reminds me of me in summer lol

Just a bit too challenging at the start to work out where to start going hahah

I'm sure thats just me being bad at platformers...

So happy to hear, and well done on getting to the pond!! Glad you had fun :)

Also, definitely not a you problem - I think we would have been better off signposting the player in the right direction more than we did

This is really lovely!  The art style is really cute, it has a cheeky sense of humor (Does that wizard have red bull in his magical vending machine, lol?), and it reminds me a lot of some of the classic 3D platformers on the PS1. Unfortunately for me, I'm not great at platformers, haha! The gameplay does feel rewarding when I'm able to make it to a tough area, but I'm just not great at these types of games.

Great work!

Thanks for the kind words!

I think one of my biggest takeaways is that the game is harder than we intended it to be! It gets harder to design with difficulty in mind the more familiar you get with your own mechanics...

Yeah, same here! It's why having play testers outside of the dev team is so important.
