- I can see this being a really engaging tower defense game and I like how you implemented the theme. The time between waves feels a bit rushed and not enough time to properly gather materials. Would like to know what I am crafting and how to use them. Would like to see a way to upgrade the light houses so they actually damage enemies. Overall, a pretty good game that could be a fun tower defense.

Game loop is solid that is for sure.
Pixel art is also prettyy cool (I really like the sumbols on the green tiles and main character ofc)
If you make a pixelart game you should stay consistant with it in terms of pixel size in every sprite and all of the UI elements should be in that style (buttons and font are smooth).
Also the UI was not very intuitive, for a long time I didn't know that I can buy upgrades because I thought the next/prev buttons were for towers I will unlock later - So instead of next/prev you could go with named tabs like 'Towers', 'Upgrades' etc.
Game need some more polish like VFX and SFX but the core loop has potential.
Good job!
Thanks for playing our game! Solid feedback, we will make some changes for the next iteration!
Thanks for the feedback, we will 100% take this and run with these suggestions!
I like the loop of defending during the night and going out scavenging during the day! I was wondering why I couldn't buy more than a few towers, but I saw you said in a different comment that it was capped at one of each type. In which case I would have liked it better if it was more effective since I quickly got overwhelmed after a few nights xD Good start for your first game, keep up the good work!
Thanks for taking some time to play our game! We did go back and forth on enemy difficulty and how many towers to allow, so we will for sure look to do some more balancing for our next release of the game.!
Nice! The core loop is fun. I like the character sprite. I like the teleporters. Sometimes buying things didn't work and it wasn't clear why. It also wasn't clear what was damaging some enemies, who showed up with half hp.
Thanks for playing the game! We appreciate the kind words! Well make sure to update the description, with the info, but You can only buy one tower of each type and the eye tower has a red zone beneath it that damages enemies! helps with thinning the enemies so you dont get overwhelmed :)
Thank you for your feed back! We plan to continue to work on this project, we will add that to the bug list!
Nice gameplay loop, good graphics. A bit hard in the beginning, I wish I had more money so I could try buying everything to figure out which was which. The best in the game was the music, it was a banger of a song and it really fit the game!
Thank you so much! We appreciate you!
Thank you for playing the game! Sound track to come eventually im sure ~.^
To be your first game I think you did an amazing job! I think the upgrades were pretty cool and I like the fact that you need to walk away from your base between phases in order to get resources, that's a very interesting idea that has potential. The music is also nice, and the pixel art of the cauldron in the main menu looks super cool!
Thank you so much! I appreciate the time to comment. Thanks for playing the game and thank you for the encouragement!
Thank you for playing Ekleptis! That logo was a bigger project than we thought but we are super happy with how it turned out. Next goal is to animate it!
