- GDD: GDD is amazing. It hits all sweet spots. 5/5 The manual is fun. Good laugh. Game: Game loop is really fun! And it worked on VM out of the box, which is not something I expected! However the game need setting menu for audio control and other settings.
Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes
Tell us about your game!
The game is a fast paced microgame collection where the microgames show up as popups on a fantasy OS's desktop. The game goes on until you lose, with the popups appearing faster and in higher number as you go on.
The game can be controlled exclusively with the mouse, but we've also added hotkeys to emulate the mouse click because of concerns over hand strain.
Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes
Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

So, I've played this game quite a bit lately and I think that already says something.
To be straightforward, this game is my type of jam. It oozes with personality that shines through both the visuals and audio, and fits perfectly with the chaotic essence of the game. There isn't anything to say that couldn't just be boiled down to the game having 2 weeks to be developed. Things like more minigames with varied controls, different dynamics, etc., I'm sure you're all already planning your next step with it.
The visuals are unique and stylistic, the music tracks are all bangers, the sound effects are chaotically fitting and the only possible glitch that I found not only did not impact the game negatively, but somehow made it even more fun by making an odd variation of one of the minigames. And it becomes even more fun when you have people to compete against in terms of score! I, for example, often like to compete against the 3 other voices in my head!
I love things with such charm and style, and I honestly think you guys struck at gold. This is my favorite game from the jam and I'm all for suporting sick stuff like this. I'll definitely be keeping an eye both on this game and whatever else you guys make. Phenomenal job!
Nice midi music, aesthetic is great. That, along with dragging and bringing certain windows to the front encapsulates the old feel for sure. The bonzi buddy clone is funny. Really, all it needs is menu and more microgames, and I'm sure you know that, so I guess I'll give my own idea for player experience in regards to pacing:
Every 100 or so there should be an intermission where everything pauses and you focus on 1 boss window that takes 15-20 seconds to beat. When you win or lose that, everything continues where it left off. This way it feels like chunks of a gauntlet and you can introduce new microgames after each chunk and the boss can give you 1 life back for winning it.
Have at that idea if you wish. Anyways, I can't wait to see more!
OMG this is amazing! I love the Wario Ware influence, and this game makes the fast pace feel really good! The mini games you have are a great blend of simple tasks. I would love to see more!
I also love the persistent main character, both in his design and how he's sprinkled in each mini game. The retro vibe is great and you do a fantastic job projecting the environment. As a 90's kid, it gives me a touch of nostalgia. :D
Thor scared me out of trying most .exe games, but I would have been really upset to miss this gem!
Don't worry, our game is 100% virus free (mostly) guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (thank you so much for the kind words tho!)
It looks so stylish, I like the main guy :o
Very distinct style, loved the music!!
I think the game could benefit from a stronger sense of progression and additional mini games. But I'm sure that's just the question of limited time =3
Absolutely was a question of time as we had about 2-3 cut minigames lol. But glad you enjoyed the music, Bones (our music person) is super talented and def deserves flowers!
Amazing, love the warioware vibes, music and overal style of the game.
Warioware was definetly one of our north stars in this project. And yeah, the artists (Bones and Meowsa) def did a great job bringing this idea to life! Thanks for checking it out!
Absolutely banging music. Super sick.
Magnificent Software truly is magnificent. Literally no notes on things (volume slider plz) other than make more of this!!!
The art, music, sound effects, and gameplay all work together extremely well. I really hope you guys work on this more later and put this out somewhere because I could very much get stuck into this, like adding more levels or ways to spend the points you've gotten in a magnificent store or something.
Amazing work guys!
