  • Pretty neat! I enjoyed this game, the only real issue I face with it is that the theme isn't very well implemented into the gameplay, rather only vaguely into the story. Well done in any case!

Can't wait to see what else you do with this. Loved my time with it and hope to see some more juice/game feel added.

I definitely beat the world record and absolutely did not lose before level 10. Kappa. <3

Loved the game, build more.

Developer

Thanks! Will do, and will come back to share on your stream.

Solid game loop, gets repetitive very fast but has room for development such as varying creature AI and timed events that need the player to do something other than the killing. The font is hard to read on some words such as "start" mainly the "t" being short.

The auto throw was great as my hand was starting to hurt from the clicking. Would have preferred the normal throw to be a mouse hold instead of click then you could have a stat for throw speed.

Was great seeing the game come together on the stream. I like your mentality to it, keep it up!

If I continue the development, attack speed is something I'd add, as all the fundamentals are already there.

Thanks Digital.

See you at the next game jam!

Hmm, I wonder who made this. It looks familiar for some reason.

Sure am glad there aren't any bee hives here, that would be weird.

Developer

That would be awkward, for sure. Excellent to see you playing. Hope you enjoyed it as much as watching me build it.

Really cool game! I got enough money for the auto-attack upgrade just as my hand was getting tired from clicking. Perfect timing!

Developer

Thanks!

If I continue the game, I thought about having multiple tiers of the mech arm or allowing the speed to keep increasing and increasing. I tried to balance it out for players to be able to get it between waves 2-4, depending on the strat they take.

Nice game. the auto-attack upgrade is really nice, the damage upgrade feels impactful at first, but really fades as time goes by.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, and it really forces players to strategize with what the game offers. Deferring in the early rounds for bulk discounts is much required, but at the cost of your poor forearm (the pain is spreading, ha). Being aggressive with farming as many units as quickly as possible, even allowing say the crab tank to hit the core and taking 3 one-eyed enemies instead. It is also possible continue to click, and then hold for more pitch forks to be thrown.

Tsundown played on their stream and was able to get to wave 16. During my plays I was able to get to wave 18 and I think the theoretical max possible level is 20 due to HP being 1.4^wave and gold doesn't scale with the wave.
